Chapter 7 (Day 2)

James's POV

I walked into the apartment happy to get my kiss. Maria was on the couch leaning on Kendall. She turned at me and lunged for me from the couch. She grabbed onto me and started trying to claw my face off.

"Maria, no!" Kendall screamed. He dragged her off me and she was still trying to come for me. Kendall took her to his room and I sat down.

"Dude what was that for?" Logan asked.

"I kissed after she said no." I said.

"Dude that's messed up." Carlos said.

"I know but I couldn't help it her lips were so kissable and she's hot." I said.

"So you even know anything about her?" Logan asked.

"No, what does that have to do with anything?" I asked.

"It's wrong you only want her for her looks! A real relationship is based on trust and knowing your partner." Carlos said.

"Yeah says the guy who never had a girlfriend." I said under my breath. He stood up abruptly and said

"Listen James I don't know what crawled up you ass but get it out and stop acting like a dick." I stood there with my mouth open in shock. Carlos never curses or even says those kind of words. He stormed out and so did Logan. I sat alone on the couch. What have I done.

Kendall's POV

I took Maria to my room and she started pacing. The was a clash and she jumped. A few more followed and she ran over to the corner of the room. I looked out side the window. It was thunder.

"You don't like thunder?" I asked her. She shook her head no.

"Come over her. I used to do this to Katie when she was scared of thunder" I said she came over and I sat her on my lap she rested her head in the crook of my neck. I cradled her singing a rhyme mom used

The house is shaking

The ground is breaking

But we'll be alright

Although the night

Our love will never pass

Our love will always last

I felt her loosen up and fall asleep. I tucked her in my bed. This was apart of the trust exercise. She trusted me to help her I took a pillow and blanket and made myself comfortable in the floor.
