3. Gin and Rangiku (Bleach)

A/N: This... This had to be written...

GinRan made me almost cry...

This isn't a sad One-Shot... but this needs to be written...

One-Shot 3

"Gin... Gin?"

Rangiku Matsumoto walked down, one of the corridors of the Gotei 13. She was both furious and disappointed.

"Gin!!"

"Rangiku~"

The beautiful lieutenant whirled around to see the sly-faced captain leaning against a pillar, his face seeming amused.

Rangiku took in a deep breath.

It was true that her anger had boiled up when she'd decided to confront him but now, finally looking at his face, she couldn't bring herself to yell at him.

The man in front of her waited in amused silence for a few seconds before raising an eyebrow, "What's wrong?"

Rangiku swallowed, her beautiful hair waving in the wind, "Were you the one who annihilated the entire south part of the Rukon district?"

There was a short silence only broken by the rustle of his clothes.

Gin looked at her for a moment before stepping away from the shade of the pillar, walking toward Rangiku who was slowly starting to feel more and more unsure of what she'd voiced.

Stopping right in front of her, the much taller man reached to pick at her silky tresses, "Do you think I did?"

Rangiku took a steadying breath, his proximity playing with her heart, "Gin..."

The man shifted to touching her face, a slender finger sliding down her cheek till it reached her soft lips, "Yes?"

Rangiku swallowed, her body involuntarily shuddering, "I asked you first."

A throaty chuckle escaped his mouth before he bent till his face was a very little distance away from her own.

"You've grown into such a beautiful girl."

Rangiku watched, unable to speak.

Closing the distance between them, Gin moved her lips into his own to give her a long kiss.

Breaking apart, the two people stood breathless.

Gin moved to whisper in her ear, "It was me."
