10. Ulquiorra and Hana (Bleach)

Requested by @fioleespring   for her little sister, Hana.

Hope you like it! I'm not sure what Hana is like so I just worked her in as normally as I could... XD

One-Shot 10

Hana looked up as a man entered the store she worked part-time in.

"Hello!" She called with a smile and a wave.

The man turned to her and his reiatsu hit her full force.

She swallowed before stepping back slightly, a little surprised by the power the man seemed to have.

He still looked at her but his eyes didn't seem bored anymore. He seemed to watch her, as though trying to place what she was like as a person.

Hana hesitated before smiling, "Can I help you with anything, sir?"

The dark-haired man only stared at her for a few moments more before he shook his head.

"Oh," Hana nodded, "Alright then."

The man walked further into the stair, occassionally glancing back at her making her wonder if he could sense her reiatsu as well.

As a quincy, she had been taught to keep her spiritual under check and she tried her best to do it but sometimes, she would let it spill out.

Biting her lip, she turned back to stocking the shelves she stood by when a hand grabbed her mouth and the other, her waist.

A muffled scream tried to be heard but could not as a man with monstrous strength dragged her out of the store through the back.

Being thrown to the ground, Hana looked up in shock as she watched large dark brown wings erupt from the hulking man's back.

He laughed, "It's been a while since I ate a quincy."

It took a second for Hana's bow to materialize as she concentrated spiritual energy into a sharp arrow and shot the monster through his shoulder.

The ceature didn't seem fazed at all and that worried Hana before she saw his blow coming.

The force of the attack sent her back and she hit her pretty head against a metal fence, noticing for the first time that the alley was dark and empty.

"Die."

A dark beam hit the creature that had been advancing toward her, completely destroying his body and flashing forward to even hit a part of the metal fence she lay against.

Hana watched in surprise as the dark-haired man from earlier strode toward her, one hand stuck casually in his pocket.

He reached her and held out a pale hand to pull her up.

Rising to her feet with his help, Hana glanced up to give him a smile, "Thank you!"

The man watched her through his half-dead seeming eyes, "Ulquiorra."

Hana blinked, "Sorry?"

The man let go of her hand slowly, "My name, " he clarified, "What's yours."

The pretty girl smiled again, "Hana."

He nodded once.

Hana glanced over at where the monster had been seconds before, "Are you a soul reaper? What exactly are you?"

She waited for a few seconds for his reply and was pleasantly surprised when he spoke, his tone expressionless as before.

"That's not important. I take it you're a quincy."

Hana nodded with a smile as he shifted his gaze to studying the ground, "I am!"

Ulquiorra nodded, "I'll see you tomorrow then."

Hana wasn't sure what he meant, "Oh?"

The dark-haired man turned around to walk away, "Treat me to breakfast. You owe me."

Hana understood what he meant only a few moments later before blushing at his way of asking her out, "Alright... Ulquiorra..."

What she didn't know was that the dark, gloomy man's pale face was flushed as well as he walked out of her range of vision, excited about the day to come.
