The Baby

Chapter 3

I woke up to Xander crying at 2am which I expected.

I remember my sister always awake at night for feed. It was always my favorite time to bond with her. I would sing for her while I feed her and put her back to sleep.

I rushed over to his room, next door to mine. I remember laying him on his back swaddled but as I came in he was on his stomach waving his arms and legs in the air and his face was so red he looked angry.

"Heyya my baby why are you so angry?" I ask him in a hushed tone.

I quickly picked him up, changed his nappy, grabbed his bottle from the warmer and sang him a lullaby my mother used to sing to me and my siblings as kids.

I rocked on the rocking chair and his eyes began to drop slowly.

I was just putting Xan down into his cot again when he started whimpering and letting out soft cries.

I picked him up and brought him to my bedroom. I set an area one side of my bed using one hand to make it safe for us to sleep together. I begin to lay him on my bed and he clung onto me like I was going to leave him.
"It's okay baby. Sleep, mommys here. I'm going to protect you with all my life. I'm never going to leave you sleep my love." he instantly fell asleep as if he understood me but not letting my nightdress go.

I laid down with him, his head on my chest and his tummy to mine.

I'll buy a next-to-me cot tomorrow.

Xander's pov (surprise the babys pov)

I wake up feeling the wind on my face and I felt hard things on my back and body. I see brown tall things that have green thing on them. Some falling on me.

I start to cry when I smelt a nice scent in the woods.

A lady with blue eyes and brown hair bent down me and picked me up.

I instantly liked this woman she's my mine.

She's very pretty.

I cuddle into her chest as she walk somewhere then she placed me into something and I didnt cry because she was still with me so I closed my eyes for a small bit.

Soon I wake up when my mommy was talking to someone.

I hear her the beating inside my mommy's chest get fast and then the person takes me from my mommy and i scream.

The person gives me back to my mommy and she starts to walk and holds me with one hand.

Later after that we went to a big place and mommy gave me food and she was talking on something and I could hear what they were saying clearly but didn't  know what they meant.

I started to fuss and my mommy stop talking and started talking to me

"Aww baby you don't want mommy to talk to grandma" mommy said giving me a kiss.

"come on lets go buy you a buggy and carseat" mommy told me

What's that?

We went to another place and she was looking at a lot of things that were blue, white or brown.

Soon we went to a place where all I could smell was mommy and that was soo nicee i started to drift off as mommy changed me.

I woke up felling cold, I couldn't smell mommy as much. I would smell other people and I didn't like that.

I got scared and started to cry, throwing my hands around and getting out the the thing that was holding onto me. I could hear footsteps before I could see who was coming.

Then my mommy came in at took my in her arms and sang to me and fed me and and and.......

Off to sleep I go.

She wanted to put me back but into the big soft thing but I didn't want to let go so she took me with her and I fell asleep holding onto her soft dress as she told she'd never leave me.
