MARIA's P.O.V

I reached office, took off the coat and sat beside my desk. Sixteen years of autumn and can't believe I've never felt like this.

" knock, knock"

"Come in"

" Morning ma'am, this is our new assignment, "aussos 231D", and we need your authorization, which is your signature to start off the project"

" Of course. Could you pass me the pen please."

-SIGNS-

"Thank you ma'am. Have a good day"

"You're welcome. You too"

I sat alone looking for new projects through the web to sponsor for. Never did the phone beep or ring clearly indicating that I had no new messages or calls. The office had pin drop silence. Quite almost like no one existed. Not a single soul to be seen roaming around. I walked around the director's cabin and past the engineering section to get myself a cup of coffee. I walked slow, killing time and then walked back o my desk. Satisfyingly finishing the cup of coffee, I waited for the minute hand to tick to twelve, making it 5, so that I could rush back home.

No one works willingly.
