Chapter One

Did I ever mention that female wolf’s pregnancy only lasted four freakin months? No . . .  well it does.

Did I ever tell you I was a freakin nurse? No . . .  it’s because I’m not!

But here I am, freaking out while I tell my amazing, strong, beautiful sister to push as I see the head of your child crowning. I don’t know what made Katherina think I could delivery her baby but she did and she proudly gave me the title of the packs nurse.

Did I ever say I am totally freaked out by the whole birth part of pregnancy? No . . .  well I am!

 “Oh my gosh!” I said scared, horrified as the head popped out. “Push again, hard and long.” And as my stupid trusting sister listened to what I yelled at her to do the baby came out and I, somehow knew what to do. I let Max cut the cord then I wrapped the baby in a blanket after I cleaned off the babies face. Smiling up at my sister and as I handed her her baby, with tear filled eyes I happily said, “Mommy meet your spit fire of a son, Aidan.”

Tears were happily falling from both her and Max’s eyes as she held her baby boy for the first time. “Aidan.” Max whispered lightly and lovingly placed his hand on his sons head.

“He’s prefect.” Katherina stated as she stared at her son. “Ah.” She screamed all of a sudden.

Making both Max and I jump in surprise, “What is it?” Max and I both asked in unison freaking out.

“Oh my god.” She got out between her screams. “It hurts.” She yelled at me and pointed down to her . . . you know. 

I looked down and saw  . . . . .  Yup, another head coming. “Holy . . . push Katherina push.” I told her quickly.

Max took his son out of Katherinas arms and she did as I told her. In a loud scream she pushed hard and long and right before she was about to take a break the head crowned, “Again Katherina again.” I told her in rushed words. She let out another scream and pushed until her sweet little baby came out and just like before Max one handedly cut the cord and I cleaned and wrapped the baby in the blanket, lucky we had extra blankets.

I held Katherina’s baby up and as I handed her her baby again, I happily announced, “Here is your heart, Libi.”

“A girl.” She smiled forgetting the pain she was just in as she held her heart in her arms. “Thank you K, thank you so much.” Katherina said to me never looking away from her girl. Max came over and set Aidan in her other arm. Happy tears rolled down my face as I watched her stare down at her beautiful baby twins.

“Can I come in yet?” My impatient mate asked on the other side of the door.

“Yes love, you can come in.” I said with a giggle.

He opened the door “Twins.” He laughed, “I guess the whole ‘it skips a generation’ is true since you skipped like what . . . two.” He chuckled at his joke which made me laugh anyways even though it was at him and not the joke.

“Would you like to meet your nephew,” Katherina paused and smiled up at her brother, “and niece.”

“Just like their mommy and uncle.” He smiled back at his sister and walked towards her with his arms held in front of him. Katherina handed him Aidan first, “He’s a stud.” He winked at his sister and after a few minutes of looking at him, he switched and held his niece, “Oh she is going to have us so wrapped.” He said still smiling down at his beautiful niece.
