Chapter seven: "Not so fast nerd."

Wendy's (POV)

The next day at school Dipper and I were walking to class holding hands. The other teens would tell rumors about us, and say things like we were a couple or that I was sleeping with him or we were going to elope and have kids ect. But we hardly ever listened to them. But sometimes we got the brunt of the rumors. Some kids ask me how being in bed with him was like. Others said when will you and Dipper's baby be due. And a lot of others. We tried to ignore them but the rumors kept piling up.

"Hey Dipstick, how does it feel to be dating a total geek?"

"Hey Wendy, don't sleep with Dipper too much, you might get pregnant!"

"HAHA HAHA HAHA HAHA!!!"

We tried so hard to deal with it all but it never went away. Sometimes we would go outside and just sit until the last bell. My focuse was slipping away from me and my grades started to go down. So did Dipper's. I felt like it was all my fault because, if I never bumped into Dipper we wouldn't be in this mess. I shed a tear at that thought as we sat outside of the school. Dipper noticed and went up to me. He hugged me but I just pulled him away.

"Wendy, what's wrong?"

"This is all my fault!!"

"Woah, woah, what are you talking about?"

"If I never bumped into you in the first place, you wouldn't be going through this hell!"

"But, I'm glad you bumped into me."

I looked up to him, he just smiled at me. I then hugged him tight and he hugged me back. I smiled as we hugged, and it felt like nothing the kids said mattered anymore. I felt safe in his arms. Before I knew it I opened my eyes to see that I was kissing him again, and didn't even notice. I blushed as we pulled away. We smiled at each other as we walked back into the school holding hands. I looked at the other kids and I saw their mouths moving but no words were coming out. When I was with Dipper, I felt like sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can not hurt me.

I'm going to finish the story today, so don't worry. Also in the next story I'm going to write, I'm actually going to put a song in it written by yours truly.
