The Nerd And The Jock (Wendip Fanfiction)

Chapter eight: "Don't listen to them."

Wendy's (POV)

As the week went on the rumors seemed to get bigger and bigger. But we just kept ignoring them. Every time we were together I felt like I was on top of the world looking down. I could tell from the look on Dipper's face that he felt the same way about me. Because we kept ignoring them, we got our grades up, by working together with homework. But sometimes I would get pranked on by the jocks or cheer leaders, and so would Dipper, but we had each other's back. I thought back to the first day we met, (a month ago) and thought about how much we actually bonded. We learned so much from each other.

I thought back to when I was just the low life without any friends, or people to talk to. But when I'm around Dipper, it's different. I felt like I actually mattered to someone other than a teacher because of my grades. When I first met him through, I never thought he could like me more then a friend because I was a nerd, but boy was I wrong. We click and I think I'm in love with him. I better tell him soon, I just hope he feels the same.

Dipper's (POV)

Wendy and I were really doing well, after the rumors finally died down. I felt like I was Wendy's whole world, and I think I love her, I was planning on telling her, and ask her to be my girlfriend. I just hope she loves me back, if she does I'll be the luckiest guy in the world. When we first met, I didn't care that she was a nerd, she was funny, smart, kind, and amazing at violin. I thought she was cool in her own way, despite what people said about her. And honestly, I would deal with the tournament of the other kids for years, just to be with Wendy. I mean I love her, so why wouldn't I?

I have to tell her tonight, I hope she says yes to be my girlfriend.
