"Maddie, I hope you realise that you can't be touching other girls without their consent. Especially when they're not into that kind of stuff," Mr. Draipe, the principal uncomfortably. "This school does not allow sexual stuff in here,"
"Sir, I didn't do anything though," I whispered. "I'm not even a lesbian in the first place, she did it to get me in trouble,"
"Oh come on Travis," he said calling me by my last name. "Y-"
"Don't call me that," I replied calmly. "My name is Maddie, not Travis."
"Maddie Travis. You and René are friends, now why would she try to get her own friend in trouble?" He asked frowning.
"We're not friends, don't you get it?" I asked. "She wants me to get in trouble, she doesn't like me anymore ever since she became thin and oh-so cool!"
"Why would René lie, she's one of the top students?" He said rubbing his bald head.
"So am I but, you think I'm lying don't you?" I said crossing my arms over my chest. There was silence in the room. "Exactly. Case closed, I'm going home now,"
"I'll have to talk to your dad," he said as I got up.
"My dad is sick."
"I'll just call him on the phone then," he said as I walked towards the door.
"He's in hospital under special care, you can't call him," I said.
"Who's taking care of you?"
"I'm staying at a neighbours house," I replied quickly before walking out. Everything I said was a lie. Dad was at home, probably drinking with a few friends. If my dad did come here, he'd make a huge scene.
"Hey," I looked up to see Justin approaching me. "Where are you rushing off to?"
"I'm going home."
"Aren't you coming to class?"
"No. I'm going home," I repeated.
"Well how are you getting home?"
"I'm gonna walk home," I said looking around impatiently. "Shouldn't you be in class or something instead of talking to the fat lesbian?"
"Yeah, I was going there," he mumbled, walking alongside me. "I got lost though, this school is pretty big if I do say so myself,"
"Not that big," I said shrugging as we turned a corner. "It's decent,"
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Justin asked stopping as we got to the exit.
"What's it?"
"What went down today at the canteen?" Justin asked. "I mean, I was watching you and your friend the whole time and I'm pretty sure you didn't put your hand up her skirt,"
"I'm pretty sure you were hugging it out with Ashleigh to be honest," I muttered. "I didn't put my hand up her skirt, I didn't say anything sexual to her. She just wanted to embarrass me,"
"People will forget about it tomorrow," Justin said trying to cheer me up.
"Yeah, people don't forget stuff that quickly in this school, especially when I'm the most hated girl," I mumbled. "I have to go, my dad's waiting for me outside,"
"I thought you said you were going to walk home?" Justin said looking confused.
"Well I'm walking home with my dad," I said rubbing my hands together as I pushed the door open.
"Bye Maddie," Justin said giving me a small wave.
"Bye." I made my way to the front entrance and started my journey home.
