I drove back to my apartment. And Anthony wasn't home. I saw a note on the fridge. "Hey gurl, since you were with your man, Im out with mine. Don't wait up for me. I have the keys to the apartment. Much love ❤❤❤ ~panda~ I smiled putting the note down. I went into my room put my pajamas on and laid on the couch and turned on the TV. Greys Anatomy was on so I just decided to watch it. I ended up falling asleep. Anthony came home and turned off the TV. And told me to go to my bed.
~The Next Day~
I woke up at noon. I couldn't believe it. It was my first time waking up late. I got up and showered 🚿then got dressed. In my sweatpants and my favorite PTV shirt. I went into the kitchen and got myself a bowl of cereal and some toast with jelly. I unlocked my phone and there were multiple texts, a missed phone call, and a voicemail. All fro. Jaime. The texts saying to wake up. I read:"Good Morning Beautiful!!❤❤ Time wake up Honey. I've been thinking about u!! Please wake up! ~kisses~😍😘💏❤"
I smiled at the text. Every girl wants to wake up to a text like this. I responded. "Hey my knight in shinning armour ❤. Thank you for the good morning texts even though I didn't read then until noon. I am finally up. Just eating a late breakfast. I've been thinking of you too. I Love You!!❤💏😘😍 ~kisses~"then I sent it. A few minutes later Jaime text me back. "Hey my beautiful princess👸 glad your up. We have a date tonight. Wear something comfortable but stylish. I Love You Too!!!😍😘💏❤"
Gahh he's so adorable. "Haha. Will do Babe. I'll see you tonight. What time will u be here?😘💏❤😍""
"Maybe around 7? 7:30 maybe?"
"Okay. See you then. Té Amó. ❤"
"Té Amó❤" Jaime responded.
I have all day to get ready for our date. I started off by calling my girl best friend; Nikki. "Hey you, we haven't talked in a looooooooooong time" I said on the phone
"I know guuuurl!! Whatcha up to??!!" Nikki said
"Oh nothing, just dating Jaime Preciado from Pierce the Veil...." I said quietly
"What????!!!! Guuuurl!!! Stop playing!!!" Nikki screamed
"Haha. I'm serious Nikki, we've been together for a year! And I am completely in love with him."
"Aww Vicky, I'm so glad to hear that!"
"Aww thanks Nikki. Anyways, he's taking me out tonight, and I wanna have a girls day. And we haven't talked in a long time so..... This'll be great!!! I'll pick you up at let's say 12??"
"Okay!! See you then!!!" Nikki said excitedly.
It was noon and I was near Nikki's house. I honked the horn and went to her door and knocked on it. "Vicky!!" She shouted and embraced me into a hug. "I missed you!!" She said. "I know. I missed you too. Now let's go have some girl time." I said
We got back into the car and we drove to the nearby beauty salon. We went inside wrote our names down for a Mani and Pedi. And I decided I was going to dye the ends of my hair purple. Nikki and I sat next to each other while getting our pedis. We talked about our love life. And she flipped out on how we met and that we've been together for a year. It was fun catching up with her. Afterwards we went to go get some lunch. I was so happy with my hair. Nikki wanted Wendy's so got it to go and then we went to a park. "We need to do this more often" I said
"Definitely. So, what's next?" She asked
"I'm not sure. Um Anthony's home now. You to can hang while I get ready and go on my date??" I said unsure.
"Yass!! That sounds goot!!" She said happily.
When we got back to the apartment it was like 5 because we went to go look around at the mall and we went to the small carnival at the peir. We rode a carrousel, played some games, rode a few other rides and even played some basketball. "Oh shoot! Its already 5! I better go get ready. Make yourself at home Nikki!" I said as I ran upstairs. I showered, put the new outfit I got at the mall, blow dried my hair, curled it, and put some makeup on. It was about 6:40 when I was done.
I waited in the living room with Anthony and Nikki. Then there was a knock. I jumped up and got the door. "Hey hun!!" Jaime excitedly
"Hey babe." I said then kissed him
"Are you ready to go??" He asked
"Yesh I am!! Just let me grab my wallet." I said. We held hands as we walked to the car. Jaime opened the door for me then he got in. "So? Whats the plan?" I asked questionably
"Its a surprise. Just go with the flow hun." Jaime said.
I turned on the radio, nothing good was playing so I plugged in the aux cord and played some Sleeping With Sirens. Then we pulled up to the beach. It was dark, put there were torches and lights hung from them. "Are you ready??" Jaime asked.
"Of course I am!" I said.
He took got out, and opened my door. He took my hand and we walked together. At the end of this walkway of torches, was a table with a white tablecloth and a bottle of wine. Jaime pulled out my chair. We sat there for a few minutes then Vic walks out wearing a white suit with a black now tie. "Would you like some wine?" He asked Jaime and I.
"Um yes please?" I said trying not to laugh.
"Your appetizer will be out shortly" Vic said then walled off
I giggled "what is this?" I asked Jaime
He laughed to "Just wait" I was getting to anxious. Vic walked back to the table with a tray. "Here's your appetizer, Mikes famous jalapeño poppers" "would you like anything else?" He asked.
"No I don't think so, thank you Vic." I said.
We began eating then I said "Oh I think I know what's going on here, the boys are making us dinner."
"Haha. Yes. Vic thought it would be a good idea. And so, I went along with it! So that explains why Vic's in a suit." Jaime said
"Haha. Aww they're so sweet." I said while taking a bite of the jalapeño popper.
"Mmm. This is good!" I said with a full mouth.
"I known they are!" Jaime said
We finished the whole plate of those poppers.
"Babe, this is so sweet. I've never had a date like this. You're the most loving, caring, handsome, sweet, and generous man I've ever met. I love you so much!" I said to Jaime and leaned over the table and kissed him. Afterwards, we had our main dish, it was grilled tilapia with a rice pilaf. (Tony made it.) ((Obviously)) it was so scrumptious. Our desert was a big slice of rich chocolate cake that we could share. "OhMaGert!!" I yelled "I am so stuffed!!"
Jaime laughed. "You're so cute when you're stuffed." He said as he kissed me.
"Mmm chocolate" he said making be blush. "I have a surprise for you hun" jaime said as he took my hand and led me to a blanket laid out on the sand with rose petals and a candle on top. With Jaime's guitar. We sat down. "Babe? You are so special to me. You make me so so happy. I love everything about you, your beautiful hair, your gorgeous smile, the way you laugh at my corny jokes, and how you make me smile every single day. And tonight, I want to sing you my song." He grabbed the guitar and began to strum. By then I already had tears in my eyes. Then Jaime began to play "What If I'm The Secret." Tears rolled down my face. Jaime's voice was so dreamy it made my heart melt. When he was done, I wiped my tears from my eyes and smiled. "Awww Jaime, you know just how to make a girl feel special. I love you too Himes, you make me feel loved. I love how I feel around you. You make my tummy have butterflies.... and they're the good ones. You're my bestfriend. I love everything about you. From your corny jokes to dorky dance moves. Thank you for making me your girlfriend. And I hope to be Mrs. Vicky Preciado some day."
Jaime's eyes were filled love 😻😍😍😘😚 He pulled me into a hug. And we lauded back on the blanket. I put my head on his chest and we looked up to the star filled sky. "I have some other news Vicky," Jaime said.
"What is it babe?" I responded
"The band is going on tour with Sleeping With Sirens. We leave next week. And I was hoping you could come with me on tour?'
"ohmygosh!!! Jaime!!! Are you serious??!! I would love to go on tour with you and the guys!!" I said excitedly then kissed on him.
~a few minutes later ~
"Yay!! I'm so excited hun!!!" Jaime yelled as we walked back to the car.
"I know!! So am I!!" I said
"Okay so we have the rest of this week and half of next week. So start packing!"
"When do we leave exactly?" I asked
"On Thursday in the morning. Like at 7? So be ready. " while Jaime was driving, I couldn't help but look at him and think to myself "is he really my boyfriend??" I smiled at the thought of me being His wife. I kissed his cheek and held his hand. We pulled into the apartment complex. Jaime walked me up. "I'm so excited for this tour! I get to spend so much time with you!!" He said quite loudly.
"Shhh. Its a surprise" I said quietly
"I love you, Vicky" Jaime said as he kissed me.
"I love you too Himes. Good night sweet dreams. I'll text u when I go to sleep." We kissed again and I walked through the apartment door. I squealed and said; "I gotta a whole lotta news for two!"
