It was Wednesday. I woke up at 9 in the morning. I got into the shower and got ready. Tomorrow I leave for the tour. Today's the day where we go over our plans and I make sure I have EVERYTHING packed. Tonight i will be staying with the band at their house so then in the morning we just get up and go. I decided to let my hair air dry and leave it down. I have a hair appointment at noon. After getting ready, I went downstairs. Anthony was watching TV and Nikki was making breakfast.
"Mmm. What smells so good!!" I say while walking into the kitchen.
"It's ma cookin!" Nikki said.
We both laugh. "Whatcha cookin?!" I asked
"Well since it's probably the last time you'll actually have a HOME COOKED meal, I'm making pancakes, hash browns, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and toast!!" Nikki said loudly.
"Ahh. Ohmygosh!! I love u!!!!" I yelled.
I started helping Nikki make pancakes. And then she said that SHE was making breakfast and chased me out. I sat on the couch with Anthony and we watched a cooking show on Food Network. I got a text from Jaime.
"Hey there sweetheart ❤😻😘😚. You ready for tomorrow? I'll stop by and pick you up so we can go over some stuff with the band. See ya soon!! 😉😉"
"Hey babe, yeah I'm ready for tomorrow. I'll see you soon!!😘😘😚😚😋❤"
Breakfast was ready. The table was set. We all sat down together and started eating. I had 3 pancakes, 4 bacon slices, 2 sausage links, a small helping of hash browns and eggs and a toast. I was stuffed. I looked around and got a little sad. "I'm gonna miss you guys while I'm gone. And I'm definitely gonna miss our meals together and a cooked meal." I said.
"I know, I'll miss you too Shelbs. I'll miss your dorkiness and your laugh." Anthony said.
"She's not dying!" Nikki said.
"I know I'm not Nikki, its just that I haven't been away for a while. I'm definitely gonna be a little homesick." I said.
"But we'll video chat, talk on the phone, and when you come back we'll all be together again!" Nikki said.
I felt a little better. I got up and put my plate in the sink and made myself another cup of coffee. "Make sure you take a lot of pictures!! And buy souvenirs for us!!" Anthony said making sure he got his point across.
"I will. I promise!!" I said making my way to the living room.
Bing! My phone went off. A text from Jaime. "Hey babe. Just pulling up. 😊😚😘"
"Ok guys, well, get over here and give me a hug you assholes!" I said sadly.
Nikki and Anthony jumped onto the couch and gave me a HUGE bear hug. "We love you Shelby!! Have fun, don't stress, and be sure to call or video chat us!" Nikki said.
"I will, I promise!!" I said
We stopped hugging and then knock! Jaime was at the door. Nikki opened it. Anthony was pulling my bags down the stairs. "Babe!!" I yelled jumping into his arms. "Haha. Hey sweetie. You ready to go?" Jaime asked.
"Um yeah. Just have my pillow to grab. I ran up to my room and grabbed my pillow and pillow pet. "Have fun, be safe, and watch over her!!" Anthony said.
"I promise, I will." Jaime said. We hugged one more time and we were out the door.
"I have a hair appointment at noon." I said.
"Hair appointment?"" Jaime asked confused
"Yes. I want to dye my hair for the tour." I said back.
"Oh that's cool! What color?" He asked
"I'm not sure yet." I said.
"Okay, well off to the house! The boys are waiting for us!" Jaime said.
We backed out of the driveway and got on the road. We pulled into the drive of the PTV home. And got out. We walked in, even though Jaime and i've been together for a while, I haven't really hung around the house, only their studio.
"I'm home!!" Jaime yelled as we walked through the living room.
There was laughing was going on until. I walked in. The band was there with Sleeping With Sirens. Kellin stood up first. "Well, hello" Kellin said in a creep voice.
"The names Kellin, as you may know, I'm apart of a band called."
I interrupted. "Sleeping With Sirens. Yes I know your band. And yes I am a fan. Let me introduce myself." I said.
"I'm Victoria Hughes. Girlfriend of Jaime Preciado." I said.
"It's a pleasure" Kellin said taking my hand and giving it a peck.
We hung out with Sleeping with Sirens for most of the morning. "Babe I got go to my hair appointment. I've got to go." I said giving Jaime a kiss. I got into his car and drove to the hair salon.
"Victoria?" The lady asked me at the desk.
"Yes, I have a hair appointment?"
"Okay. Right on time. He's just about ready for you. You can have a seat."
I sat down and was going through my contacts. I don't know why I still have my ex in my phone book after what he has done to me. I deleted it and sat back. Thinking of what color I should dye my hair. Just then, my hair stylist Xavier walked up.
"Victoria!! It's so nice to see you!" He said pulling me into a hug.
"Xavier! Its been to long" I said.
"So, what color are we doing this time?" He asked.
"I'm not to sure yet, maybe you can help m decide. I'm going on tour with my boyfriends band, and their post-hardcore so maybe a blue?!" I said unsure.
"Blue it is!" Xavier said. We washed my hair. And touched it up. Xavier started putting the dye in my hair. And we talked and talked. We were finally done around 3. "Wah-la!!" Xavier said pulling off the towel from around my neck.
"Ohmygosh!! Xavier!! It's beautiful!! Jaime will love it!!"
I payed and got into the car. I texted Jaime I was done and that I was stopping for Panda Express. I cannot wait for Jaime to see My hair.
