'No exams!!' I shout throwing my suitcase into the boot of Rubys car. 'I can't believe I made t through that torture, I don't think I could face anything more painful' I laugh making her laugh in joy and relief that the exams and our life at school is over. I jump into the back behind Rubys boyfriend Josh slamming the door behind me, Ruby following. We head down the street on the way to Georgia's.
'YESS' Tyler shouts almost leaping into the backseat next to me, giving me a sweet kiss on the cheek 'no more exams, no more stress' LIVE LIFE' he shouts as loud as he could deafening us all. I feel sorry for Georgia for this trip having to third wheel with me and Ruby in new relationships, the trip giving us all some bonding time.
I wake up, wiping the drool from my face, Tyler laughing sweetly at me as I have dribbled all down his shoulder 'well it's a good job this place has a washing machine, ey?' He laughs as I wipe the wetness from around my chin, laughing in embarrassment.
'Are we nearly there yet?' Georgia moans in a childlike manner, stomping her feet.
'We've been driving for hoooouuurs' Tyler joins in, elongating the 'hours' making him sound more childlike.
'Will you two stop or you'll be grounded the whole trip' Josh says sternly, keeping his eyes on the road but giving them both a stern finger waggle. 'We need to stop for petrol' he says as he pulls into a service station.
'Yes I need to pee' I say climbing roughly over Tyers lap and jumping out of the car as soon as it stops. Me, Georgia and Ruby run to the bathroom whilst the boys fill up the tank.
'What do you think of Josh guys?' Ruby asks over the sink to both me and Georgia. She looks worried as if she is hoping for our approval.
'He's great, he seems like he will be so fun' Georgia says
'Thanks for setting me up with him Danni, it's so good that our boyfriends are best friends as well' she laughs like its some chic flick you would see on TV. So cliché.*One hour later*
'FINALLY' Tyler screams, waking me up from his lap. I look out the window to see a beautiful cabin at the end of a dirt tract, right next to a lake stretching out for miles it seems.
'So beautiful' I say thinking out loud. Tyler wraps his arm around me, hugging me close.
'You like it?' Ruby laughs making us all nod in unison whilst staring in awe as we watch the cabin getting bigger and bigger as we get closer.
'It's perfect' Georgia says, breaking the silence. We all get out and collect the suitcases that Josh and Tyler have begun getting out of the boot and start wheeling them up to the steps of the cabin. This is going to be a great week I think to myself and smile at Ruby.
