'What are you waiting for' Tyler says running up to us, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the cabin. We all split off in different directions to look around the cabin.
'Me and Ruby call this room' I hear Josh shout from the other side of the cabin to me and Tyler.
'Mine' Georgia yells before me and Tyler can even find a room to claim, all we can find is a lounge area, kitchen and bath room.
'Is there even another bedroom?' I laugh making Tyler bow his head. We open up the last door we haven't checked, opening to a huge room with a patio and view of the lake.
'Perfect' he smiles at me and throws out suitcase on the bed.We all unpack and meet back in the living room. 'What shall we do?' I ask everyone and we all look around and mutually agree.
'Lets go swimming' Tyler sounds bouncing. We all walk out with towels wrapped around us and head towards the shallowest part of the lake we could find.
'I'll race you' Josh says to Ruby pushing her a little to get a head start. Me, Tyler and Georgia take a stroll towards the lake watching at they both run into the water shouting and cursing the fact it is freezing. Georgia follows them in but me and Tyler go around to a rock, a little deeper into the lake.
'What do you think of them?' I ask as it's the first time they've met Ruby and Georgia.
'Ruby is lovely. She seems so nice and happy with Josh' he smiles and stops himself. 'But Georgia seems so reserved, maybe it's because she doesn't know me and Josh, or because she's kinda third wheeling' he says wrapping his arms around me from his kneeling position and resting his head on my stomach. My hands automatically rest on his head, stroking his black short hair. 'It just seems like there's something more that being reserved because of that' he says quietly to prevent her overhearing. He rests his chin on my stomach and looks up at me and smiles.
'I thought she was acting strange as well' I say with a side smile.
'Get that towel off' he demands and pulls the towel from around me, making me shiver with the sudden exposure to the air. He pulls up his red trucks higher to ensure they don't fall down and ties them tightly around his waist and canon balls into the water, flicking his hair to the side when resurfacing as if he has long surfer hair that he could do that with. 'Come on' he says gesturing me to follow. My costume doesn't feel as safe so I take the safe option and slide in off the rock we were sat on.Tyler carries me back in like from the scene from Shrek on their honeymoon and drops me on the sofa. He walks into the kitchen smelling food being cooked, I get up and follow him.
'Chicken and rice' Josh laughs
'Because that's all you know how to cook' Tyler says poking him in the side, making Josh squirm.
'Where's Ruby?' I ask Josh and he gestures towards their room.I knock on the door, awaiting approval and walk in.
'Hey' she smiles as she's unpacking hers and Josh's suitcase.
'Can I talk to you?' I ask in a half serious tone, making her sit down on the bed, gesturing for me to come in further than the door and sit down with her. 'Have you noticed Georgia acting a bit strange? Like stranger than just being an awkward third wheel?' I say and her eyebrows narrow.
'Me and Josh were talking about this earlier because she had just disappeared, we thought she went with you and Tyler' she says making my stomach drop 'she hasn't came back'
'She wasn't with us, we thought she was with you' I say confused and concerned at Georgia's whereabouts.
'She's been really quiet, she didn't really speak the whole journey' Ruby says, noticing the same things me and Tyler did.
'She's not acting normal' I say and queue Georgia walking through the door.
'Who's not acting normal?' She says and without looking at her I quickly reply with 'Tyler'
'I think he's too overexcited about being here' I laugh. I turn around to look at her and she's covered in mud and leaves like she's been lying in the woods. 'What's happened to you? Where have you been?' I ask seriously and look at Ruby who is inspecting her too.
'Oh um..' She says but is cut off by Josh
'Dinners ready' he shouts summoning us all to the kitchen. I can't help but think about Georgia, why is she so muddy? 'Where's Georgia?' Josh asks us
'Were you two just with her?' Tyler asks me and Ruby and we nod
'She may be getting washed up for dinner or something' I say, not wanting to mention what state she was in as it may just worry the boys with their overprotective nature.
