I was told that Marcus enjoyed my news and was having a good day. So I became so much more happier. I was unfortunately given 'hospital food'. It was sausages and mash not bad when mum makes it, but a whole different story for when a hospital makes it. It was vile. I got over it and eat it quickly, which was followed by drinking two glasses of water, with five tablets to give me energy.
Mum said, "Kate, you have a big day tomorrow so go to bed now please."
I forced myself to as I knew she was right. Tomorrow I could go home and see my bedroom and Marcus again, at last.

I woke up at what appeared to be half six. My mother sat next to me looking completely warn out. She had obviously done so much for me in the last couple of days, and I love her so much for it.
Today was the day for me to go home! I couldn't wait. As I knew it was so early I went back to sleep so my adventure would start sooner.
I woke up and dad and mum were sat talking to each other. Dad nudged mum to show her that I'd finally woken up. A huge smile wiped her face. Dad said quietly "Peter said you can go home now, so when your ready we will be off. What time will you be willing to go?".
I said without any hesitation, "now, please!" So dad went off to find Peter to help us.
Peter came a long with a small wheel chair and helped me up off the bed into it. I wish I could walk to the car, but I know that taking it slow was the best. Dad slowly wheeled me out of the huge white doors, the sun appeared to be amazing to me all of a sudden. I hadn't seen it I'm a few days. I was lifted in to my dads small BMW and the wheelchair in the boot. I couldn't wait to see Marcus and Becky. Mum said that Becky was staying over the night so I could sleep with them in the lounge, 3rd wheeler again.
After a short drive through town we pulled up on to the drive way. I wanted to leap out and run, but sadly that was never going to happen. Dad got the wheelchair and helped me into to it. A few neighbours waved at me, joyful to see. I was taken down the drive and lifted into the house. There stood Marcus and Becky, my two closest friends. Becky was wearing a short pink dress with sown on roses everywhere, a silver necklace with a heart on it (Marcus had bought it her), and black heels. She was gorgeous.
