Halloween Shopping

2 weeks went by quick after my first day of work and ever since we have been on a strict schedule. Today is the day before Halloween and last week Bobbie and I were invited to a party not to far down the street. We both decided it would be a good thing to go since we both have been really busy. I still haven't gotten a costume and Bobbie got his two days ago, he is going to be a cop. I can't decide between sexy, cute, classic or smart. I'm not really the one to over think these kinda things but I want to impress.. For once.
I had two hours after school before I had work so I stopped by the Halloween store, ever thought about what the store would sell very other day of the year?
I walked in and headed to the woman's costume section. I saw a sexy cop and laughed a little I logged onto my phone and went on snap chat, I snapped a picture on the costume, captioned it 'Partner in Crime?' And sent it to Bobbie.
I kept looking, I couldn't find anything I liked and I had tried so much on already. Kitty, Hot Cop, Donut, Singer, Lady Gaga.
I decided to give up and just come back after work with Bobbie, he didn't have work today and I only had a half day.
I went to work, which was really busy. Many girls came in getting little things to finish off their costumes. After what felt like forever at work I finally got off and headed home.
When I walked in I saw Bobbie just laying on the couch in his boxers and nothing else. This would have been weird if we weren't so close. He has probably seen me 2 or more times without pants on.
"Bobbie! Get up I need your help!"
I said with a drained look on my face.
"what"
he said standing up, walking over to me.
"We need to find me a costume!"
I said as I tried not to check him out even though I totally did when he turned to grab his pants.
"KENN! I saw that!"
he said with a huge grin on his face,
"what? I don't know what you're talking about?"
I said smiling and grabbing the keys to my moms car which I have been driving for a little while.
I walked outside to the car and got in, Bobbie just had to put a shirt on then he came out and got in the car.
We drove two blocks to the Halloween store and walked to the costume section.
Bobbie pulled out a bunny costume and I tried it on, they were all to big so we kept looking. After looking and looking Bobbie found a tight leather cat woman suit.
"I'm not wearing that!"
I laughed,
"oh come on!! it's hot!"
He smiled as he took it off the shelf,
"you have to at least try it!"
he said handing me the suit.
I agreed and put it on, I strode and looked at myself before leaving the change room. It wasn't that bad, kinda hot.
I slowly walked out of the change room and turned to see Bobbie sitting in chairs, he looked at me with an odd face.
"You didn't try it?"
he asked confused.
I had walked out with my normal clothes back on,
"I did, it is hot! but you have to wait to see it!"
I said as I walked over to find some black cat ears.
"that's not nice"
I hear Bobbie say from a distance.
I finished getting things for my costume and we left.
We were both pretty hungry so we stopped at Boston Pizza for dinner.
A waitress took us to a booth and gave us a menu each.
"so does your mom know I live with you?"
asked Bobbie as his eyes scanned the menu,
"she does,"
I said putting my menu down
it went silent for a minute,
"How is she?"
he asked being kind
"alright, they want to take her to a mental hospital though"
I said picking my menu back up.
