Ana's POV
"I can't believe my brother got that picture! What if everyone got it?" I said, yelling at poor Tori over the phone. As soon as I got home I ordered the pizza and took off to my room which was on the other side of the house. You had to go outside to enter, there was no door connecting it to the rest of the house. My dad built it for me about a year ago. I had a full sized bed with Union Jack comforter and pillows lined up on the side. I had a Keep Calm and Carry On black pillow on the side. My room always seemed crowded, but I had so many memories I couldn't just not let them be shown. I had a dark blue room and a window right above where my head would be when I slept. Dad liked to make sure we were as comfortable as we could be, that's why he built the seperate room for me. I wasn't a loner, I just really wanted my own space that no one could really enter without my permission. I did have an intercom so if anyone needed me they could page me.
"Oh calm down Ana, I bet he took the picture and showed you to psych you out." The girl had a point. My brother was one for pulling pranks on everyone. Maybe this was just another one of them. "Look Ana as much as I would love to help you out and talk to you, my mother thinks I should help clean the house but I will call you later."
"Okay." I said and she hung up. I went on the computer as soon as I sat my phone down. I went on twitter see if anyone else was having a down day. As I scrolled down I saw that one of the girls in my history class had posted a picture captioned: "And this is why I refuse to sit a desk before I wipe it down girls like this just disgust me #ew". My curiousity got the best of me and I clicked the picture. I couldn't believe it. Someone else had actually taken the picture that was sent to my brothers phone. I felt my stomach reach my throat as I stared at myself drooling in history. I slammed my computer shut and pushed it away from me. I felt sick. that picture will be seen by the entire popular people population. I backed up onto my pillows and just stared at the computer my eyes wide and my mouth open as wide as it possibly could be. I could only imagine what people are going to see when the see me tomorrow.
Christian's POV
As I sat in the back of the black car that was sent to pick me up, I couldn't help but remember the girl from detention. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and went to text Eric. When I unlocked the screen Erics name popped up. It was a multimedia message, and it was of Detention Girl. She was sitting at her desk in history and her head was down. As I looked closer I noticed she had just the tiniest amount of drool on her desk from sleeping. I texted Eric back asking him who she was.
From: Eric
Dude that's my sister remember?
I looked at the message blankly. His sister, I thought, No way. I definitely would have remembered her. I thought about all the times I had been to Eric's. I have been in all the rooms in that house and there was no sign of a girls room anywhere. To: Eric
I've been in all the rooms and I NEVER saw a girls room?
From: Eric
Have you ever noticed the extra addition to the house that you can't access from inside the house you have to go outside to get in?
To: Eric
Yeah.
From Eric
That's her room. She likes her space or something like that
Now I got it. We were never allowed in there. If Eric wanted something out of there he made me wait outside or in the house while he went inside to get it. The car pulled into the driveway with a bump and stopped in front of the giant front door to the giant house.
"Thanks Lenny." I said to the butler and he tipped his hat and smiled. I shut the door and he drove off to put the car in the garage. I hesitated walking inside for a moment and just stared. I never really noticed how big that door really was. I sighed and walked in.
"Mom, Dad I'm home!" I yelled. I heard the echo and waited... no answer. I let out another big sigh and made my way upstairs. I threw my bag on my bed and grabbed my skateboard. I knew Eric had basketball practice today but I wanted to check out the addition his house, and his family.
Ana's POV
After a while of staring, I opened the computer and quickly exited out of twitter. I opened up iTunes and clicked on my playlist. Under My Shades by Zara Larsson was the first song to play. I turned it up loud and started singing along. Eric had already left for baseball practice and Dad had went to work so I was here alone and didn't have to worry about anyone interrupting me. Right in the middle of the of the 2nd verse I heard a knock on my door. I paused the song and unhappily got up to check who it was. I opened the door a little. When I saw who it was I slammed the door and put my back to it. I didn't think twice about it either. I took a deep breathe and turned around to open the door again.
"What are you doing here?" I said to the boy.
"Well... err... I wanted to know if you saw that picture." I stared at Christian Argent in disgust.
"Yes I did. In fact I would like it if you wouldn't come to my house and remind me. Thank you." I went to shut the door again but his foot stopped it. He moved his head so I could see him through the crack and smiled.
"I wasn't going to make fun of you," He said, a slight laugh in his tone "In fact I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?"
"You don't even know me, Argent." I said, my tone as cold as ice.
"Well things can change." He grinned and I smiled back. I opened the door a bit and he stepped back crossing his arms with his skateboard against the wall. " I knew you would change your mind." He said before walking closer.
"Oh did you now?" I said and shut the door.
"What!" I heard him shout from outside. I smiled to myself, feeling proud for tricking him. I walked away from the door and landed back on my bed. I went to hit play on the song when my door opened. I have to start remembering to lock that damn thing.
