Third Wheel ;; Yoon Sanha

The morning after the announcement of their relationship, I got ready to leave for school more than an hour early so as to avoid Sanha and Bora but I was unlucky.

I was trying hard not to get Houdini to follow me outside the gate when I spotted Sanha leaning on the fence, one leg up.

I was about to go back into the house so that I can leave through the backyard gate but Sanha called my name out loud. No chance of getting away now.

I turned to face him and pretended to be surprised to see him. "Whose is that?" asked Sanha pointing to Houdini. "Mine" I replied. "When did you get it? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Eunwoo gave it to me yesterday and I didn't tell you because I thought you might be busy with your girlfriend" I could only hope I didn't sound as bitter as I felt. He frowned a bit but didn't say anything after that. "Shall we leave for school?" he asked after a minute.

"Shouldn't you go with Bora now that you're dating?" I asked him. "I can always make time for my best friend" he smiled and pulled my hand. I didn't feel like returning the smile. Instead I walked past him trying not to show any emotions on my face.

"Wait" he said and grabbed my hand again. "Did I do something wrong?" he asked, having this worried expression on his face.

Someone help this Kid. How can he be so clueless?

"No" I answered. "Then why?" he asked. "Why what?" I asked.

"Why are you avoiding me? It seems like you hate me now. If I have done something wrong, you have to tell me what i've done. Only then i can change it. If you think you can solve whatever is going on by simply avoiding me then you're wrong" he whisper yelled.

"I'm not avoiding you" 

"Oh yes you are" he said rolling his eyes "you didn't open your window yesterday and don't give me that shit saying you were asleep. Your lights were on" 

"I could've forgotten to switch them off"

"You're a pathetic liar" he said and I just shrugged in reply. "Are you not gonna tell me?" he asked, his grip around my wrist becoming tighter.

"Do you really not know?" I asked. "How the hell am I supposed to know if you won't even breathe in the direction I'm in?" he raised his voice.

"Lets just go to school" I said and pulled him along with me.

"There is still a lot of time for school to start" said Sanha once we got down from the bus. "We'll just sit in the library" I shrugged and walked towards our school.

"Uh Uh Uh lets get something to eat" he said and pulled me in the opposite direction.

"Which one do you want?" asked Sanha when we were inside the cafe. "Not really in the mood for food" I replied and went to the porch of the cafe while sanha placed his order. It got really cold and I found myself rubbing my hands.

Suddenly Sanha gave me a back hug and pulled me really close to him. He does this all the time. He was so warm and comfortable and I forgot he had a girlfriend for a moment. When it occurred to me I immediately pushed him behind. He must've hit the wall due to the force because I heard him hiss in pain.

"Oh I'm sorry" I apologised when I saw him rubbing his arms. "What was that for?" he asked. I took a deep breath. "You have a girlfriend now. You can't just go around hugging other girls" I said. "Not even you?" He asked.

What is this guy even?

"No. Not even me" I answered and Before Sanha could reply, a waiter came outside and told us Sanha's order was ready. We both went inside and sat on one of the tables.

"Bora is calling" said Sanha, taking out his phone. "I need to use the restroom for a minute" I said and walked to the washrooms. I wasn't going to listen to their cheesy talk. No. This is so frustrating.

I received a message from Eunwoo and opened the chat.

Eunwoo: Wanna go to school together?

Iseul: I'm already almost there with Sanha

Eunwoo: Bora will become jelly

Iseul: Sanha asked me to

Eunwoo: Why can't he leave you alone now that he has a girlfriend

Iseul:  Actually I don't want him to leave me alone

Eunwoo: Oh

Iseul: gtg Bye

I checked my face and and hair and walked back to our tables and saw Sanha had already finished eating.

"Bora is already at school apparently" he said "Shall we leave?".  I nodded. Of course. She's his girlfriend. I'm the friend. There is a difference.

Bora was waiting for us at the entrance. "Where were you both?" she asked Sanha, linking her arms in his. I turned my gaze away.

"We just went to eat" replied Sanha smiling at her. "Next time we'll go together" she pouted and he ruffled her hair, laughing.

"You both get going I'll come in later" I said and they walked away playfully grabbing each other's hands. Oh god.

As I watched them walk, I heard Eunwoo's voice.

"Stalker much?" he asked, blocking my view with his hand.

"I came here with Sanha alright" I snapped and shook his hand away. "Yeah sure" he chuckled.

"You're not going in?" he asked. "Let them go first" I replied, still staring at them both. "If you hate them being together so much, you don't have to keep on looking at them you know..Oh what is this?" he asked, pulling a post it which seemed to have been stuck on my bag.

its said Lets go out tomorrow night -sanha with two hearts in Sanha's clumsy handwriting. 

"He shouldn't be doing this to other girls especially now that he has a.." But he stopped because he saw me smiling stupidly at the note.  "Whatever, lets go" he said and pulled me along with him inside the school gates.
