Chapter 11: This is NOT over

JACK'S P.O.V

"What is it?" Kim asked sounding confused. Suddenly all the lights cut off and I knew that was my cue. I started running for the stage and as soon as I got into position the lights came back on.

KIM'S P.O.V

When the lights came back on I started looking around for Jack. When my eyes finally landed on him I was shocked. There he was sitting on stage with a guitar in his hands. My mouth was wide open until he started talking.

"There is something that I have been wanting to get off my chest for a while now I just haven't known how to say it until now" He started." For starters I'm going to sing a sing that I think represents my feelings pretty well" Jack stated before playing a tune on his guitar, soon after the rest of the band began playing.

As the song came to an end I was practically crying. I felt so bad for Jack but the next thing that happened shocked me even more. Donna ran onto the stage.

"Jack it is so sweet of you to sing that song for me" Donna screamed while jumping on Jack.

"Actually Donna I sang that for Kim" Jack spat while pushing her off. I didn't know what to do, cry harder because Jack admitted that he sang the song for me or laugh because Donna fell on her but. Instead on instinct I pushed my way to the stage. When I got there Jack gave me a hand and pulled me onto the stage.

"Look, Kim it's okay if you don't feel the same way but, you can only hold in your feelings in for so long" Jack said.

"Ja-"

"No before you say anything there's something else you should know.........when I told you Chase didn't write the letters I wasn't lying.... I know it wasn't him because.........I was the one who wrote them, Chase was just delivering them for me" Jack said. When he finished his sentence he pulled out 2 pieces of paper. "These are the rough drafts that I wrote before typing them" Jack continued. That was all the proof I need, I knew I had never shown anyone the notes so there was no way he could have copied them.

"Jack" I said breathlessly, before he started to babble on and on about how he know I don't feel the same way and stuff. I tried to get his attention by calling his name but realized it was no use and did the one thing I knew would work.

I kissed Jack Brewer.

That certainly got him to stop talking long enough for me to pull him backstage and for me to begin talking.

"Look Jack, I do like you, in fact I have liked you since the day you caught my Apple in the cafeteria, I just never knew if you felt the same way and I didn't want to jeopardize our friendship, I'm sorry that I put you through all of that pain and I'm sorry for not believing you when you told me about the notes" I said while Jack sat down on the couch and pulled me into his lap.

"Its okay Kim, but there is just one more question I have to ask" Jack said.

"And what would that be?" I responded.

"Would you be my girlfriend?" Jack asked. On the inside I was jumping up and down but I remained calm on the outside.

"I don't know I'll have to think about" I said jokingly before giving him a reassuring kiss.

"I guess it's official then?" Jack joked.

"I guess it is" I replied laughing.

CHASE 'S P.O.V

I watched as Kim kissed Jack and walked backstage with him. Although I did cheat on her with Donna I also can't stand the fact that she left me for Jack. I mean he gets everything he wants, and sometimes stuff he doesn't want but other people do. For instance, Donna dumped me because she thought Jack sang that song for her so I think it's about time I get what I want. Watch your back Jack this is not over.
