Seth's P.O.V.

I walked down the stairs and out to the kitchen where my mom was.

"Hey mom?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"If you call me in sick again tomorrow, I bet I could get a lot of packing done. Riley could help me too."

"You're just eager to move, aren't you?" She laughed. I was eager.

"What can I say, I've been wanting to move to Lockport ever since we saw the house."

"I guess you can stay home again," she said hesitantly. "You won't be going to school here much longer anyway."

"Yeah," I agreed. "Thanks, mom," I said, walking back toward the stairs.

"Is Riley alright? Was he crying?"

"He's fine mom," I said, brushing her off and jogging up the stairs to my bedroom. Riley was still sitting there, staring at his hand.

"I'm staying home again tomorrow," I told him, sitting down next to him again.

"Yay," he grinned. "I would be bored if you didn't."

"Well, we won't be bored," I started. "We have a lot of packing to do, I told my mom you'd help."

"Alright," he said, "it's the least I could do to repay you."

"You don't have to think of it that way," I laughed.

Riley's P.O.V.

Yay, more time with Seth.

I looked around the room, closely examining it for the first time. I noticed a lot of sports stuff.

"Are you a jock?" I joked, nodding toward a plaque for football.

"I don't know," he laughed. "I play football and basketball for my school."

"Are you good at it?"

"I'm better at football, I think I'm only good at basketball because of my height."

"Are you popular at your school?"

"I guess so. You?"

"Not at all."

"Why not?" He asked, looking at me.

"Because I'm weird," I said, looking away.

"You're not weird. You're nice."

"Guys don't appreciate me checking them out in P.E. I don't have any friends. I'm weird."

"No you're not," he said, apparently determined to change my mind.

I looked up at him, giving him a doubtful look.

"You're not weird."

"I am."

Seth's P.O.V.

Does that make me weird too?

I've checked guys out in P.E. before. No one noticed though.

"I promise you, you aren't," I said firmly.

"You'd think I was weird if you didn't know me."

No I wouldn't.

We're the same, aren't we?
