Is fate real?
Do things find their way around to their appropriate place?
Are things really meant to be?
Is there a red string that attaches two people without them knowing that they will eventually end up together?Aurora thought about these questions in a blink of an eye.

"Is it...is it me?" Asked Alex.
"I'm I or was your crush?"
Aurora stood there, looked at him and became silent. She kept walking with out answering.

"The only person close to me is myself, I keep a really small circle." Stated Alex.

Aurora got courage, looked at him deep into his eyes and slowly said "Yes, it's you. It has always been you." She quickly walked away from him after opening up to  him. While she walked to her class she was putting herself down. She thought to herself.

"Why did I tell him? Ugh, I'm such an Idiot. Now I just messed up our friendship. I kept it in for so long to spill it out in a few seconds. What have I done. Oh god. Help"

Aurora was very nervous and scared. She walked away before he could even get a word out. She was nervous to see him after that period. She didn't want to confront the situation. She did not want to take the first step. A few minutes later she gets a notification on her phone.

Alex Acevez:
" Do you really feel that way?"

Aurora freaked out. What was she going to answer? How was she going to answer? She was literally screaming inside. She couldn't keep it in any longer and decided to talk to her friends that period. She explained everything to Yelena and Thanet. They couldn't believe everything she confessed. They thought she was madly in love with Nathaniel but deep inside she knew it was Alex. It has always been Alex. Aurora asked them for advice on what to do or reply.

"Didn't he just have a girlfriend. Iris ?" Pointed out Yelena.

"You can't just step in like that. "

"Don't listen to her. Follow your heart and do what you think you want." Comforted Thanet.

Aurora Reid:
"Yes Alex, I'm in love with you!"

Alex Acevez:
"Since when?"

Aurora Reid"
"Since the first second I saw you. I just fell in love with you without even trying."

Alex Acevez:
"Woah, I didn't know."

Aurora Reid:
"Well now you know. What do you think of what I just confessed?

Alex Acevez:
"I feel something for you too!"

Aurora freaked out more than she was already. She did not see that coming what so ever. Instantly she felt this huge joy inside of her. Her heart felt like jumping out of her chest. Her eyes sparkled. Her smile became wider. Her happiness increased by 99.9%.

Aurora Reid:
" What?"

Alex Acevez:
"Yes, I've felt something along the way. I didn't know what but I see it now."

Aurora Reid:
" Are you sure. Like are you serious Alex?"

Alex Acevez:
"Yes!"

As Thanet advice her she wrote,
"So what are we going to do about this?"

Alex Acevez:
"Do you want to keep talking? Get to know more about each other?"

Aurora Reid:
"Yes, I would like that very much,"

The period ended and as usual she went downstairs where she would meet him without making it obvious she waited for him. He was standing there so..so..just so amazing. As she approached him her hands began to shake. Her legs felt numb, her breath was accelerating by the second. When she was just a second away she took a deep breath and went up to him and said,
"Hey," she had the brightness smile you can ever see.
"Hey," replied Alex as he smiled back at her.
They then hugged for the first time. It felt to peaceful and joyful to be in his arms. That was everything she ever wanted, to be in his arms. She walked away with the biggest smile on her face. At that moment she felt like nothing can go wrong and everything finally was taking its place. One period left until lunch, she could not get him off her mind. She lost herself day dreaming about him in class. She would stare into nothing and just think. She anxiously waited for the bell to ring. Finally, 11:44. Lunch time. She went by her normal routine, she walked towards lunch with her friends. She informed Laeshly and Kate about what had happen the period before. They were very happy for her, she finally had the chance to confess her love. Minutes passed by, Aurora got her lunch and went out to her table. She then noticed it was raining, she had no table to go to so she just stood outside where there was a ceiling on top. She stayed there talking to her friends, shortly after he came by and hugged her. That hugged meant so much to her. It was sweeter and tighter than the one before. She felt more connected to him than ever. Soon after they began to talk. They introduced each other. They talked for the whole lunch hour. He just wanted to be closer to her and meet her friends. That was the happiest day for Aurora. Was that her fate? To end up with him after all. They were just talking, now she had to see where this could lead them. Time was precious for her, being by his side. She felt herself fall deeper and deeper in love with him. No matter how hard she tried not to. She felt it was meant to be.
