Today has been a great normal day, kind of i guess. Just like that the weekend passed by and we're here on the first day of the week again. Luke hasn't spoke to me still. I see him around today and i tried smiling to him but he just didn't return a smile back. I just want to know why he didn't want to be friends.

It was lunch, I couldn't find him in the cafeteria where he normally sits but he was nowhere to be found. I decided to head to the library and search for him, because that was what he told me. He should be there.

I walk past the row of shelves, because i couldn't find him sitting around. I finally saw him, he was on the corner of the floor where theres no people, reading a book. Good spot.

I picked a book and sat next to him quietly. He was still reading and not looking at me.

"So you're gonna ignore me like this."

He didn't turn.

"Helloo I am talking to youuu," I snapped my fingers infront of him.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"Well why do you think i came here for? I want an explaination, obviously"

"There's nothing to explain Dani, just go eat or something." he flips a page from the book harshly that it could just rip off anytime.

"K, fine. What are ya reading?" I shifted close to see what he's reading.

"Do we really- you know what? If you don't go then I'll go." He closed the book and stood up.

"I just want to be your friend, why can't you just let me" I said, following him.

"Can't talk right now." He left.

Fine then Luke Hemmings, if you want to play that way, you'll see.

"Yo! You comin' tonight?" Emma asked me as i hopped in her car, fanning myself as it is getting hot, hoping Mia would make her way here quickly because i can't deal with the hot weather these days.

"Tonight?" My face is clueless, i don't even know what she is talking about.

"Someone's party, a friend from my english class invited me. They're throwing a huge one." Emma grinned at me.

"What? It's a school night, Em, i can't. I have to study." i told her.

Heres the thing about Emma, she's always down for everything, like mini adventures, and everything. She likes to explore. For me, i don't really go out the often, big crowds are so not my thing.

"Come on, please? I'll drive you home early if you have to leave." she pouts as she begged me to go. She wont ever give up by getting me by the puppy face look until i finally agree with her.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine."

Luke POV

"Luke, you alright dude?" Calum asked me. I just rolled my eyes at him for dragging me to this stupid party.

"Dude, c'mon, the reason i brought you here to have fun," he reminded me, like the 20th time telling me that.

"I remember telling you that im not into this party stuff. You know i could be finishing up my reading by then, instead im here."

"Stay here, imma get us a drink. Do not go anywhere, Luke, i swear if i come back and you're gone-"

"Alright alright! Chill" i cut him off and lay back on the couch.
