Mistakes

This time its Delly's turn to climb up on the table.

" Katniss Everdeen, the lies you tell to get attention," this make me laugh and I realise that I'm really tempted to go up to Delly and push her off the table. Delly continues, " I'm not the reason that Katniss starved herself, it was because her dad had died in a car crash. Her mother was so depressed that she would start throwing things purely out of anger. After a few weeks, Ms. Everdeen put Katniss and her little Sister in a foster home. Katniss had such bad nightmares about losing her sister, that she needed counselling. Her mother went to Therapy and, after a month or two, decided to take back Katniss and her sister. Katniss didn't trust her mother anymore so she started to hunt for her own food in the forest. She wouldn't be able to catch a lot so she gave most of it to her sister, therefore she starved herself." Yes that is true, but some of it is Delly's  fault as well. Delly decided she hasn't spilled enough about my family, so she keeps on going.

" A week before Katniss' dad died, he took her out hunting in the forest. They caught a few things and cooked them there. Because of the fire, Mr. Everdeen told little Katniss to stay inside the shack they had built there. Mr. Everdeen went off in search of some water, and when he came back, the fire had grown so out of control, that it had engulfed the shack in flames, with little Katniss still inside. He bravely ran in and got burned quite badly. Little Katniss ended up with a few bad burns. Isn't that right, Girl On Fire? Her dad called the fire brigade and my dad, the head firefighter, helped get them out and questioned them to see how it all happened. And I was there during the questioning, so I heard the whole thing. And that's how I know that Katniss is the Girl On Fire."

This set me off as I was about to start to walk to wards Delly, someone beat me to it. Finnick. He ran into the classroom straight towards Delly screaming " You leave my little sister alone you mutt!" I'm not actually his little sister, but we have known each other for basically our whole lives. He is very protective over me and Annie. He ran straight up to her and pushed her off the table! She started crying and got her little 'friends' to carry her away to the nurses office. It turns out that she had two broken fingers and a sprained ankle.

Finnick P.O.V

No one insults Katniss and gets away with it. In her middle school I had no idea it was happening because she moved away. But now that little mutt is trying to mess with my little sis. Well you know what? Screw her and screw anyone one who had anything to do with it! I think she should've  broken more than 2 fingers. "Settle down people, go back to your normal morning" I say.

I decide to show Katniss our group of friends. " Katniss. This is Cato and Clove. Glimmer and Marvel. Johanna and Gale. And you already know Me, Annie and Peeta."

" Nice to meet you" everyone says. Except for Jo who shouts " Fresh meat. Hey Brainless." Katniss looks quite shocked and I'm not sure if its because of how loud Jo can shout, that she got called Fresh meat or that she got called Brainless. Maybe even all three.
