I sit up in bed feeling really sick, I run straight to the bathroom and throw up in the toilet. Alfie comes running up behind me. He holds my hair behind my head.
"Are you okay, you don't look too good"
"Yeah, I am fine thanks beautiful, just got a bug thats all"
"As long as your okay baby thats all that matters" I turn round and snuggle into his neck he wraps his arms around me.
"You don't think that there is a chance that I am preg-"
"There could be a slight chance" I wriggle out of his embrace and open the cupboard, I pull out a box of pregnancy tests and read the instructions.
"Step 1: I need to pee on the stick thing on the end, you don't mind coming out while I do this do you babe?"
"Of course I don't beautiful, have all the time and privacy you need" He walks out and shuts the door behind him, I pee on the little stick and put it down on the toilet seat
"Baby, you can come back in now" Alfie walks in and stands beside me, one hand on my shoulder.
"No matter what this test shows up as, positive or negative, I will still love you all the same my little nugget" He rubs my shoulder and pulls me closer to him.
"Thanks handsome" I kiss him on the lips then turn to face the test, I grab the box and read the results "Two lines means I am pregnant and one line means I am not" We stand in silence until we see one red line, we both exhale breath both dissapointed in the results, I was about to pick it up until I saw another red line. "Alfie, I am pregnant"
"OMG Zoë I am going to be a Dad" He kisses me on my forehead and pulls me into a hug.
"What are we going to tell our viewers?" I ask staring into his eyes.
"Nothing, we need to enjoy this feeling while it lasts" He pulls me deeper into the hug and I snuggle back into his neck.
