Chapter 9

I start to wake up and feel Alfie staring at me and playing with my hair. I turn around, making him jump
"What do you think you are doing?" I say, chuckling
"Im sorry beautiful, I just cant believe how lucky I am to have you, our little one and our life" He says, putting a hand on my belly, I put my hand over his and smile at him as he is staring at my belly. Its so unreal, knowing that you have a human growing inside of you, but I couldn't be happier that me and Alfie are going to have a little family of our own in about 8-9 months. I get up and pull my dressing gown on and slip my phone into my pocket, Alfie comes with me and we both walk downstairs. As we get downstairs I start to feel dizzy and nauseous.
"Zoë? Are you okay..." I blackout
-At the hospital-
Alfie's pov:
"Is she going to be okay?" I say and grab her hand, I look over at my little one, completely unaware of what is happening and put my other hand on her stomach. The doctor walks up behind me and stands at the end of her bed
"Are you Alfie Deyes?" The doctor asks
"Yes, I am, is she okay?" I ask looking at my poor baby
"Yes shes fine and so is the baby, we don't know what caused her to pass out so we are going to have to do some tests when she wakes up"
"Okay, thank you so much"
"She will have to stay here for a few days, until about Monday, will you be staying here with her?"
"Yes I will"
"Okay then, call one of the nurses when she has woken up and we will try to figure out why she passed out" The doctor walk away and I take my phone out of my pocket and ring Joe
J: Hey Alfie, how are you?
A: Hey Joe, Zoë is in hospital, I am with her now
J: Oh my really? We will be on our way soon, I will pack some bags and get a hotel room for me, Mum and Dad when we get there
A: Okay thank you, I am going to ring everyone else and make sure they know that she is safe and well
J: Okay bye, we will be there in about an hour
A: Bye
I ring Louise, Tanya, Marcus, Niomi, my parents, Poppy and arrange for Poppy, my parents and Tanya to come down to the hospital
-1 hour later-
Alfie's pov:
Joe, Zoë's parents, my parents, Poppy and Tanya are now all here and we are all waiting for Zoë to wake up. Tanya walks over to me and puts a hand on my shoulder, making me jump
"Alfie, have you moved from that spot since you got here" Tanya asks concerned
"No, I don't want to leave her side just in case she wakes up" I reply, still holding her hand and looking at her
"Alfie, I think you should have a bit of fresh air" Zoë's mum says
"I will take you, come on mate, we will go to the shop and get Zoë some chocolate and flowers for when she wakes up" Joe says, putting his hand on my back and taking me outside, I stand outside and am still panicking about Zoë
"Alfie you don't need to worry, she is in good hands" Joe says., snapping me back out of my daydream.
"I know, I am just panicking" I reply looking at my ring and fiddling with it.
"Its going to be fine, come on lets go and buy her some stuff for when she wakes up" Joe says and leads me inside, we go into the shop and pick up a bunch of flowers and a huge box of maltesers, we also pick up a coffee for everyone and head back upstairs, we open the curtain and Zoë is awake.
"Alfie...?" Zoë says looking at me. I quickly sit back in my chair and grab her hand, stroking it
"Yes beautiful, I'm here" I say, reassuring her
" I love you" Zoë says looking into my eyes and smiling. She looks so weak, and not like the normal, lively Zoë.
"I love you too, Little one" I reply getting up and kissing her forehead

Sorry that its been so long, I completely forgot about this story, until recently when I started having ideas for it, I know I have come back with a shocking one but I promise there will be happy chapters again soon ;)
