9 Months, 1 Prize

Chapter 2

-The Next Morning-
I wake up again, feeling sick, I run straight to the bathroom and throw up again. "Ughhh is this what I have got to deal with for 9 months?" I say aloud
"Unfortunately, yes sweetheart, but we will get an amazing prize at the end of it" Alfie said walking up to me and putting his hand on my shoulder, I stand up and hug him tightly again.
"Yes we will" I say, rubbing my belly.
"Are we telling our parents today?"
"I think so, they need to know" I say.
"We will go today then and tell them" He says, kissing me on the top of my head. We walk back into our bedroom and I pick out my clothes, better wear these now while I still can before this one starts showing more. I chuckle to myself a little. I pull out my outfit and throw it on. When I walk out Alfie is dressed and he looks handsome, as always.
"Hello handsome"
"Aw baby, you don't look too bad yourself"
"Shut up" I say hugging him, I kiss him and then walk out of the bedroom, Nala is there straight away to meet me. "Hey little one" I say stroking her and picking her up, I stroke her head again. "Mummy's gonna have another little one soon"
"Bark"
"Aww you will always be my little girly" I say putting her back down, I walk downstairs and into the kitchen, I pour her dog food into her bowl and she runs and eats a lot of food. I pour myself a bowl of special K and put a spoon in it, I pour Alfie some too and carry them over to the table, I put mine and Alfie's food on our spaces and walk to the bottom of the stairs. "Alf, I have made you some food" No response "Alf?" Alfie walks up behind me slowly and wraps his arms around my waist hugging me close, making me jump. "I hate you"
"No you don't" I laugh and kiss him again, we both eat and then we get in the car so we can go and tell our parents.
-30 minutes later-
We get out of the car at my parents house. "Are you ready?" Alfie asks putting his hand on my shoulder, we walk in and I shout "Mum, Dad, Joe?" I shout knowing Joe is there.
"Hi baby girl, how are you" My dad asks walking through the living room.
"Im okay thanks Dad, do you mind getting Mum and Joe I- We need to tell you something, just tell them to come and sit in the front room"
"Okay Hunny, Joe get your Mum and come down to sit in the front room, Zoë and Alfie are here!" He shouts up the stairs. Me and Alfie walk to the front room and sit on the sofa.
"Are you ready Alf?"
"As ready as I will ever be I guess" I snuggle into him on the sofa and he strokes my hair. Joe, my Mum and my Dad walk in and sit on the other sofa. I pull away from Alfie so that I can sit up.
"What is it sis?" Joe asks
"Well... Me and Alfie... Are having a baby" I say, Mum and Dad are gobsmacked.
"Omg, I am going to be an uncle! I can't believe it. Congrats you two!" Joe says with the biggest smile plastered on his face.
"Our little girl is all grown up and gonna have her own kids, I cant believe it" Mum says, tearing up.
"Aw Mum don't cry" I say
"Im just so happy"
"Aw darling I am so happy for you, I can't wait to meet my little grandchild" My Dad says, smiling.
We stay there for a few more hours and then when it's time to leave, it's too late to be able to go to Alfie's parents house so we just go home.
"Im glad they took that so well, I am even more excited now" I say to Alfie as we are walking in the door.
"Me too baby"
"I love you" I say, hugging him.
"I love you more" He says, hugging me back.
We close the door and go to our bedroom, I get changed into my comfy pajamas, I walk back in, get under the covers and fall back to sleep.
