A short A/N at the end for the readers who've already read this chapter.I didn't know it, but three weeks has passed. My Dad and I been spending a great amount of time together, because he had three weeks off. It was great! He took me shopping, because his paycheck came in. He usually didn't spend it so quickly, but he wanted to make up for the time being. He said he liked my new hair.
I had cutted it short. It silky laid against the back of my neck, cupping just where my neck connected to my back, somewhat like a bob cut, but it was even all away around and somewhat layers. I loved my new hair. I kept it straighten and it was awesome. I've been sketching alot too. I drew that picture where my dad was getting out the car. I didn't know how great I was. It came out friggin awesome.
Kia and I had not spoken since the day I left her house and that was three weeks ago. She's been avoiding me at school. Everytime I saw her, she would roll her eyes at me and keep on walking. Even when I tried to say Hey to her, she would ignore me or show her hand. I felt like I had nobody. She was really my only friend at that school, but...then I had Roger. He was there for me, so I didn't feel completely left out. We became good friends so now he loves when I come over. Now, when I go to Kia's, I go there for Roger. I know it sounds ridiculous, but...he's been a great friend. He has been trying to talk to Kia about why she's been ignoring me and all she tells him is:
"GET OUT MY ROOM!" she shouted.
"No. Why the fuck you being all rude to Jenni?" Roger asked, standing infront of her bed.
"Jenni?"
Roger narrowed his eyes. "Jennipher."
"Jennipher?" Kia shook her head. "I don't know no Jennipher." Roger glared at her and walked backward to the door.
"You're such a bitch." he muttered.
"Get use to it." Kia smarted. Roger slammed the door in her face before he heard anything else come out her mouth. He let out a shaky exhale and went to his room. He dialed me.
"Hello?" I answered.
"She's a fuckin' bitch, Jennipher. She won't tell me."
My heart did sink a little. "Well, alright." I said, trying not to sound hurt about it. I looked down at my foot which I had kicking against the carpet. "I'll just have to deal with it."
"No, you don't. Y'all been friends for to long. I don't know what's with her."
"Like I said, it'll be okay."
"You didn't say that." he teased. I smiled.
"Shut up, Roger." I blushed. "Um, well...I'll see you at school tomorrow."
"Please, show up. Or I'll break that ho down."
I folded my arm across my stomach and tilted my head. "Why do you need me to show up?" There was silence. "Roger?"
"Hm?" he hummed, quietly.
"Why do you needㅡ"
"Oh, cause..." He lowered his voice. "when I see her, I see you so I don't touch her, and when I see you, I'll be glad I didn't touch her, because..." he trailed off.
