Throw it at the leader.

And who's that?

The long hair guy

Oh, yeah!

I picked up my plate and threw it at the Jock leader and hopped over the bench and made a run for it. And of course they ran after me, shouting they were going to get me, but I didn't care. To be honest, it was kind of fun. I ran as fast as my legs would let me. I rushed into the school and ran straight for my class.

"Sorry, I'm late!" I rushed in, out of breath. Everyone in this class just stared at me. Blankly. I felt my blood as it started to flow up to my cheeks.

"I'm sorry, but are you in my class for this period?" the teacher asked. Me?

Why would he ask that?

I don't know.

I went to answer, but I heard a voice break. Jock guy.

"No- no, Mr. Smith." the voice I probably would never forget trembled out.

"Then you may be excused and get to the right class, Mister. Missouri."

I laughed on the inside. His name was Missouri?

Last name.

But still. That's-- that's...

Not funny. I cleared my throat and caught Mr. Smith's attention. "Miss. Blacc, would you mind finding a seat?"

"I forgot to stop at my locker and get my books." He looked down at my arms, seeing no books.

"Very well, then. Perhaps a detention will remind you to bring your books to class next time." Are you serious? Detention? My day couldn't get any worse, can it? The students busted out the giggles.

Possibly, it can. "Yes, Mr. Smith." I slumped my shoulders and walked to an available desk. When I sat, I somehow spotted Aimee. She gave me an guilty wave. I flashed a smile and watched as the students pretended to listen and take notes. When class was over, the classroom got empty expect for me. Aimee had whispered in my ear and told me to meet her after school at the corner. I smiled and laid my chin into my palm. I sighed and watched as Mr. Smith reviewed our work. I waited, and waited.

Well, this is boring.

Tell me something I don't know.

You are very deeply in love with Andy.
