Chapter 41

Selena's POV

"How long has she been here?" I heard my mama mumble to justin at my back as i continuesly rub my fingers gently on Emory's fluffy cheeks

Her eyes we're closed shut and she was so pale really pale

Any time now

"It's been a while she ask me" justin answers as i ignore both of them and stared at my fighting daughter

"Well she needs to go home and have some rest, ask her for me alright" she sighs and i felt her lips sealed on my left cheek and runs out of the door

There was a moment of silence all you can hear was the ticking of the machine and the air conditioner buzzing

"Selena we have to go okay? We'll be back later on jazzy will take care of her" justin coo to me as he gently rubs my back

"I want to stay here"

"I know, but you needed some rest, you've been sleepless these past few days, do it for her" he whispers into my ear his breath tickles my neck

I looked up one last time to emory and sigh

"O-okay"

He smiled as i started to stood up starting to remove my hand from Emory's when i felt a soft squeeze

I stop as justin looks at me with confusion, i turned to see emory and my heart skips a beat when i saw her eyes we're almost open as she stares at me like she was sleepy

"Mo-mommy" she whisper weakly and my tears releases from my eyes

I forwarded into her and hugged her as her hands rubs my hands

"Oh my god! Oh my god Emory" i half screamed unbelivably as i continuesly hug careful not to hurt her

She's finally awake, she's awake.... She's alright

"Thi-thirsty" she mumbles softly as i realease from the hug and watery eyes and weak face is all i saw

"Justin call the nurse!" I plead as he hurriedly gets out the room

I grabbed the water glass at the end table and slowly forwarded into her letting her drink

Then the door flew open and a tensed out justin and a doctor is in the room

"Ohh Emory finally awake aren't we? How are you?" The doctor asks friendly with a sweet smile plastered on her lips

I watch how justin hugged Emory, happy tears realeasing out of his eyes as emory smiled, and my heart leaps from the sight of them

"Fi-fine but my head hurts and my body the-" emory cuts what she was saying as justin lets go of the hug and the doctor checks up on her

I immediatly grabbed my phone and dials my mom

"Hello umm mo-"

"Honey why did you call?! Did something bad happened?! O my go-"

"Mom" i laugh "I'm fine everything's okay in fact things just got better" i mutter as i glance at justin who is know feeding emory some hot soup with a smile on their faces

"Wha-What? Honey what happened?"

"She's awake mom she made it" i half whisper smiling as happy tears trembles into my eyes which caises for emory to turn her eyes to me as so as justin they're both smiling

There was lots of squealing and sniffles on the phone

"Omg! That's great honey!! I'll be right away!! Omg this soo g-" she ends it cutting her squealings

As i looked up to both of justin emory giving them a smile in return

It was only the three of us in the room and it felt like we we're destined to be thogether
