To those who are mad about my reviews or finds the ratings I give too low or too high, or thinks that I give a story too much or too littl...
It's actually long but that's natural because its genre is Historical Fiction.
Hadrian is kind of an idiot for not telling Addy who he really was. It's a good thing his explanation that he didn't want her to treat him differently is somehow valid.
The political and military part is small too which is a good thing because those are a little unnecessary because most of the council or parliament members just fight but the lack of those kind of content makes it less informational because most authors use real facts in writing.
There's also some mistakes with the punctuations. Mostly the commas.
I wasn't also that excited with the news that this will be a trilogy though. It's great but I'm a very impatient person.
I love the plot, pace and all the elements of the story. The characters, like most HF books, are slightly hard to memorize because once again a HF book has depicted that 18th century, or probably older than that, people get on it like rabbits. It's totally fine for the royals and the nobility but for the poor it means hunger. Well, at least they're happy.
It's one of my favorite HF books. One of the few of the genre that I actually review. I highly advise you to read this. It's fantastic.
