HOW TO GET YOUR SPLITS FAST!

Hey guys, (picture up top is Logan Fabbro) this chapter will be stretches to get your left/right leg splits.

~TIPS~
-Keep your hips square forward to the way you are facing.
-point your toes, DO NOT flex or sickle your feet.
- Keep your front knee facing the sky, and your back knee facing the floor.
-don't turn your legs in.

~WARMUP~
Always warmup before stretching and doing the splits!
Do some Jumping Jacks, Running on the spot, Jogging and jumping. Also, roll your ankles and wrists both ways. You can do anything else you usually do too.

~STRETCHES~ (do these for both legs)
-Lunges: straighten out your back leg and put your knee on the floor. Bend your front leg and make sure your knee doesn't go over your ankle. Hold this for 30 secs - 1 min.
-Stretch 2: (I have no idea what this is called so I just named it stretch 2)
Go back from the lunge and do it reversed. Bend your back leg and straighten out your front leg. Put your stomach to your front leg and hold.
-Leg up lunge: repeat the first stretch (lunge) but lift your back leg off the floor. Leave your knee on the floor.
-Half Split: pretend you are going down into the splits, but bend your front leg inwards/to the side. (If you can't already tell, I can't explain this very well). Straighten your back leg and keep the knee facing the floor. Put your stomach to your front leg and hold.

Remember, it depends on many things for how long it takes to get the splits all the way down, so don't over-do it or you'll hurt yourself!
