Aphmau's POV
I woke up the next morning to the smell of rainbow curry. I got up off my bed, grabbed my backpack full of supplies, and walked out of my room. I saw Emmalyn sitting at a table, eating rainbow curry. She looked up and smiled at me.
"Good morning, Aphmau. How did you sleep?" She asked.
"Good morning," I replied. "I slept well, thank you"
"Would you like some rainbow curry?" She asked. "I just made it."
"Sure, thank you." I said.
I sat down at the table while Emmalyn brought me over some rainbow curry and tea. We started eating and talking about various things, mostly about the village. I was very interested to hear about the past of this place. Emmalyn told me that the past lord of Phoenix Drop was a very bad lord. She also said that no one in the village remembered what he looks like, or if he had family. That was weird. She said that it had to be some sort of spell or something that made them forget him. They only remembered that he wasn't a great lord.
"Hmmm, interesting." I thought to myself.
After we finished eating, and I helped with the dishes, I walked over to the door.
"Are you going to help rebuild the village again today?" She asked.
"Yup. I think Phoenix Drop could use some more construction." I replied. I saw her smiling.
"Ok, just be safe out there." She said. She mumbled something under breath, but I heard it clearly.
"Lord Aphmau."

Garroth's POV
I was just patrolling the area, when I saw Lady Aphmau coming out of the library. I decided to go greet her.
"I really hope Zenix doesn't come over and bug me again." I thought. I walked over to her.
"Good morning, Lady Aphmau. Did you sleep well?" I asked. She turned around and smiled at me. I felt my face get hot.
"Yes, I did. Thank you, Garroth. Emmalyn is so sweet." She said still smiling. I smiled inside my helmet.
"I'm glad, well I'll be patrolling around the village today so if you need anything, just come find me." I said.
"Will do. See ya later, Garroth." She said, smiling. She then turned around and left.
"Well, well, well. Talking to your GIRLFRIEND, Garroth?" Someone said sarcastically. I turned around to see Zenix and Dale, both smirking.
"Oh, ha ha. Very funny. Will you two leave me alone?" I asked. Of course, I knew they weren't going to no matter what I said.
"No, thank you. We would much rather tease you." Dale said.
"About what, exactly?" I said, looking at them.
"About you liking Lady Aphmau." Zenix said.
"Yeah, come on, Garroth. It's pretty obvious." Dale said.
"Is it really that obvious? Or maybe they're just guessing, trying to get me to crack? I don't know." I thought. If it really was that obvious, then wouldn't Aphmau know? That thought got me worried.
I tuned around and started walking away from them, hoping they would just leave me alone. They didn't.
"Come on, Garroth. Just admit it and we'll leave you alone. Won't we, Dale?" Zenix said to Dale. I rolled my eyes, still walking.
"Yeah, of course we will." Dale said. I knew them both too well. I knew that the second I admit it, they will either NEVER leave me alone, tell everyone in the village, or just tell Aphmau and the secret will spread from there. I wasn't going to fall for that.
I walked over to where we first met Aphmau (no reason) and just leaned against a building. Zenix and Dale were still trying to get me to admit that I liked Aphmau. When suddenly, an idea came to my head.
"We promise we won't tell anyone." Zenix whined.
"Yeah, only you will be able to order us who to tell and when." Dale said.
I continued staying quiet.
"Why won't you just admit it, Garroth? We'll leave you alone." Zenix asked.
"The same reason why Dale hasn't confessed to Molly, yet." I said , smirking. I looked over at Dale. He was red in the face.
"This is why I wear a helmet." I thought, still smirking.
"Ohhhh, he got you there, Dale." Zenix said, laughing.
"W-what are you guys t-talking about?" Dale said, stuttering. I laughed a bit, too.
"You should really wear something to cover your face, Dale. Your bright red." Zenix said.
Dale tried covering his face with his hand. Didn't work.
"Can we stop talking about me, please? Aren't we supposed to get Garroth to confess?" Dale asked, still red.
"No, I don't remember that ever happening. I just remember teasing you." I said.
"Hehehe. Nice try, Garroth. Now tell us. Do-" Zenix started, but was cut off when Aphmau appeared.
"Thank Irene. I really hope they don't say anything while she's here." I thought.

Aphmau's POV
After talking with Garroth, I left to go finish the walkways. I met a really nice farmer named Brendon. He said that he was really good at building and wanted to know if I needed any help. I said that I would love some and he immediately went in his house to get supplies. I had been doing construction all day and I was worn out. I started walking around the village and talking to the people. Most of them addressed me as, "Lord" Aphmau.
"I guess I'm the Lord to this village now?" I asked myself. I hope I can be a better one than their other Lord.
I started walking around when I spotted Garroth, Zenix, and another guard that I hadn't met yet. He had a black beard, blue and yellow armor, and his helmet was only covering his right eye. For some reason he was blushing and Zenix was laughing.
I walked over to them and stood next to Garroth.
"Hey guys." I said, smiling.
The guys all looked at me.
"Hello, M'lady. The streets are looking a lot better. Thank you for that." Garroth said.
"Your welcome, though half of the credit goes to Brendon. He's been helping me rebuild things." I said.
"BRENDON? Really? He can build?" Zenix said, surprised.
"Yeah, he asked me if I needed any help and he's been doing a great job. Why do you sound so surprised, Zenix?" I asked.
"Well, Brendon never really was a great farmer, but he was the only one we had." Garroth replied.
"We could never guess he could build." Zenix said.
"Heh, he should have said something sooner. If he had, Phoenix Drop wouldn't be in this state." Said the other guard.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I never got your name." I said to the guard.
"Oh, my apologies, M'lady. My name is Dale. I'm another guard in Phoenix Drop. I apologize for not introducing myself earlier." He said, bowing.
"Oh, don't worry. I've been running around the village for the past two days so, I only meet people on accident." I said, smiling. The guys laughed.
"Woah, I didn't even notice it was getting dark." Zenix said, looking at the sky.
I looked up too and he was right, it really was getting late.
"Wow, neither did I. Well I should be heading back to the library. Night guys." I said waving goodbye.
"Night, M'lady." Garroth said.
I started walking towards the library and to go to sleep.
