Garroth's POV
"No, it can't be. Why is HE here?"
I stood where I was, trying to believe that this was all just some nightmare. It wasn't. Donna was talking to ZANE! My brother?! Why? He has black hair covering his right eye and all of his clothes have a mask that covers his nose and mouth.
"What is he doing here?"
Donna saw me and waved me over. I had no choice. I went over.
"Please don't recognize me. Please don't recognize me. Please don't recognize me."
I walked over to them.
"Good day, Donna. Who are these two?" I said in the most formal way possible.
"Oh, well. This is my mother. Please don't mind the cats." She whispers to me. "She's crazy."
"And this is the priest that will perform the ceremony. Zane, the High Priest of O'khasis."
"How do you do? I hope you don't mind me bringing a few of my guards with me. I feel safer when I have something from my home with me." Zane said.
"I do not mind at all. Welcome to Phoenix Drop." I said through gritted teeth.
"Thank you."
"Hey, who are these people?" Said a voice behind me which I recognized immediately.
"Ah, Lady Aphmau." I said turning around. I froze the second I saw her. She had on a flower crown and a new outfit that made her look even more beautiful than she already was.
"Hey Aphmau. This is my mother and this is the High Priest of O'Khasis, Zane. He's going to reside over the wedding." Donna explained.
"Yes, and may I say that it's an honor to meet such a beautiful Lord as yourself." Said Zane, walking over to Aphmau and kissing her hand. I just wanted to hit him. Aphmau blushed and pulled her hand back.
"Ummm, thanks? I don't really like my hand being kissed." She said.
"Ah, my apologies M'lady."
"No, it's fine. Anyway, Donna. I asked Cadenza if she could make the clothes and Kawaii~Chan if she could make the cake. They both said yes and are working as we speak."
"Oh, awesome. Thank you so much." Donna said.
I decided to leave a few minutes after that. I did not want Zane to find out who I was. I hope he leaves soon.

Aphmau's POV
Garroth was acting really weird around Zane and I don't know why. Every time Zane talked to him, Garroth would just walk away. I need to talk to him. He's the High Priest of O'Khasis. He needs to be treated with respect. I was just in my house playing with Levin, when someone knocked on my door. I gave Zoey the day off because I wanted to spend more time with Levin. I got up and went over to the door. I opened it and Garroth was standing there.
"Oh, hey Garroth. Come in." I said, smiling.
He walked in and actually took off his helm.
"Thanks," He said, placing his helm on the table.
"Wow, I thought I'd never see you without your helm again." I said. He chuckled.
"Well, it does get pretty hot in there." He smiled.
"His smile is pretty cute. Wait, what? Why am I thinking that? Do I like him? No, I can't. He's my guard." I looked over at Garroth and he looked confused.
"Are you Ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, why?" I asked. He gave a shy smile.
"Your blushing." He said and I was immediately embarrassed. I walked over to Levin and sat down next to him. Garroth came over and sat next to me.
"Whatever, we need to talk." I said.
"What about?" He asked.
"Why have you been acting so weird lately? Especially around Zane. Why do you ignore him?" Now he was blushing. He looked away, embarrassed.
"It's a long story that I want to save for another time, if you don't mind." He said. I kinda wanted to command him to tell me but at the same time, I wanted to respect his privacy.
"Ok, but you know if you ever want to talk, you know where to find me." I said. He looked at me and smiled.
"Thank you, Lord Aphmau. Um, I need to tell you something." He said.
"Um, s-sure. What is it?" I saw him blush bright red.
"Umm, L-Lord Aphmau. I-" Someone knocked on the door before Garroth could continue. Garroth got up and went over to put on his helm. I went over to the door and waited until he had his helm on before opening it. It was Zane.
"Hello there. Am I interrupting something?" He asked.
"Um," I looked at Garroth. He shook his head. I frowned.
"No, come on in." I said, closing the door behind him.
"Why thank you, Lord Aphmau. Ah, I see your guard is here. I'm sorry, I never caught your name." He said to Garroth. He stayed quiet. I guess he didn't want Zane to know who he was. Do they know each other?
"Hmm, quiet type, eh? Very well. I'll respect that. Anyway, I've come to discuss wedding preparations with you, Lady Aphmau. You seem to be the one setting everything up."
"Oh, of course. Why don't we sit down?" I suggested.
"Very well." He said, making his way to the table. Garroth walked away from the table and over to me.
"I'm going to leave and check on the rest of the village. Come find me if you need anything." He said.
"Wait, weren't you going to tell me something earlier?" I asked. I didn't want him to think that I was ignoring him.
"I'll save it for another time. I'll see you later, M'lady." And with that, he left. I looked at the door for a moment and then went over to Zane to discuss wedding preparations.
"What was Garroth going to tell me?"
