Aphmau's POV
We all went over to my house to listen to Vylad's story. We saw everyone coming out of her house and heading down to the village. We greeted everyone who passed by us and went into the house.

I saw Levin and Malachi running over to us. Malachi ran over to me and I saw Levin jump into Garroth's arms. Garroth caught him and held him, giving me a quick smile. I smiled back and picked up Malachi. I walked over to Zoey who was at the dining table. She stood up and hugged me as I came over.

"Lady Aphmau, are you alright? We were all so worried about you all. Where are the others? Are they Okay?" She asked, a worried look on her face.

"Yes, Zoey. Everyone's fine. Dante, Brian, Dale, Nicole, Lucinda, and Logan are all trying to fix up the village. The rest of us are fine. The battle's over." I said and she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh thank Irene. We were so worried." I smiled.

"Hey, we're going to talk in the basement for a while okay? Can you keep the boys out of there for a while?" I asked. She nodded.

"Of course. Well, I'll see you later then. Come on Malachi." I set Malachi down and I saw Garroth hand over Levin. The three of them went out the door and I led everyone down to the basement. There was a huge table in the center of it where I hold meetings with my guards or anyone else. Everyone sat around it and waited for Vylad to say something. Garroth and Laurance both sat on the opposite sides of me. Out of the blue, Vylad spoke.

"I left home 2 years ago. I couldn't take living there anymore. Dad was getting too power-hungry and Zane was getting worse by the minute. It was completely selfish of me to leave without telling anyone. I knew that. I also knew that you and Mom would be really worried about me." His gauze was on Garroth for the last sentence.

"I ran from O'Khasis, as far away as I could get. Surprisingly, I made it out of the gates and into the woods. I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going, but I just knew I had to leave. I was lost in the woods for a few days before I saw someone. Zenix. He looked at me and was very nice to me. I felt like I could trust him, so I told him everything. He told me he would help me leave the woods, if I agreed to do something." He paused and looked at the ground for a moment. Then, he took a deep breath and started again.

"He told me to follow him. I trusted him so I did. We walked for what seemed like ages before he stopped. We were facing a Nether Portal. He turned to me and I remember what he said, perfectly.

'Join us. Swear your loyalty to the Shadow Lord. We'll take care of you. Better than your old family did. You'll be safe here.'

I had no idea what I was getting in to but, for some reason, I still trusted him. I agreed and he led my through the portal.

I didn't know what a Shadow Knight was at the time. I didn't know I had to die to become one. I didn't know what Shadow Knights did. All I did know at the time, was that they would take care of me.

Zenix brought me to the fortress where I would go through my transformation. I remember laying down on a table and then, everything went black.

I remember waking up in red, glowing armor and Zenix standing at my side. He congratulated me and led me on a tour of the Nether.

1 and a half years later, I went to the overworld and saw Phoenix Drop. At first I didn't think anything of it. It was just a little village.

Zenix had sent me to the overworld to destroy a village. I went to the outskirts of the village and hid in the bushes. I already had a plan of what I was going to do.

I was about to do it, when I saw Zenix. Not only did I see him, I saw Garroth too. I recognized the armor.

I didn't want Zenix to try to destroy the village. I spotted him alone on the outskirts of the village and came up to him. He asked me what I was doing there and I told him not to destroy the village. He asked me why and I told him that I had family there. I don't think he cared but he explained that he was just an undercover guard there and wasn't planning on destroying it. Of course, I believed him. I left to go find another village after that.

I kept on coming back to Phoenix Drop to watch and make sure nothing bad happened. I stayed like that for about a month. I then decided to explore around the village and.....I met Aphmau."

My eyes widened. Vylad was the guy I saw cutting down the tree!? The one who led me to Phoenix Drop!? The whole reason I found it!? That was HIM!?

After a while, Vylad started again.

"I noticed that she was looking for some place to live, so I tried to get her attention. I started cutting down a tree, hoping that the noise would make her look over at me. She saw me and called out to me. I then ran to the direction of the village, hoping she would follow. She did.

I got enough distance between us and I climbed a tree. I saw her enter the village and talk to Garroth and Zenix. I knew that my job was done. I went back to the Nether Portal and left through it.

I'd met Laurance a little while after that but we weren't really friends.

That's really about it."

Vylad stopped talking and leaned back in his chair. Everyone say there, taking in everything he'd just said. I looked over at Garroth. He was looking at the table, not really meeting anyone's gauze. I grabbed his hand and he looked over at me and gave me a small smile.

"You Okay?" I whispered. He nodded.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just shocked." He replied.

"I don't blame you. I would be, too." I smiled at him.

After a while, everyone started talking again.

Author's Note
So, unfortunately, I think this book is starting to come to an end. But that's not a bad thing because I've started thinking about some new book ideas. I've thought of 3 so far.

1. Phoenix Drop High
2. Minecraft MyStreet
3. Garmau One Shots

All ideas are still Garmau related.

That's all and thank you all for over 200 views. It means a lot.

Thank you
