Rose X Abused Child Reader

  *This is an AU where Rose is alive and her and her family are happy and shit. Forgive me if the Steven Universe characters are OOC*

You where quietly making your way to your bedroom. Your mother was passed out drunk on the couch, having put herself on there when she was done with your beating for the day. Your name is (Y/N), you are 5 years old, with scarred (S/C), messy (H/C) (H/S), and you where living in none other than Beach City where the legendary Crystal Gems resided in. You finally made it to your room, after making sure your door was locked you made your way to your first aid kit and began to bandage up your wounds. Not a day went by without some form of abuse, whether it was physical, mental, or emotional. You didn't get to go to school like the other kids, you weren't allowed to have friends, or have any type of fun. Your mother made sure that your life was a living hell, and there was no escape, at least till now.

You've been planning on running away from your mother and try to make in the world alone, after finishing cleaning up your wounds you began to pack your belongings. With your tiny backpack you shoved in some food you manged to sneak, clothes, and your favorite stuffed toy (T/N). Them as quietly as you could you open your window and escape. You finally got to the beach, your old house was on the outskirts of Beach City so you decided that going to the city itself was the best choice. You make your way down the beach, the moon light guiding you. That's when you came across a stone woman. It was huge and a house seemed to be built on top of one of the tall stone woman's hills. You stare at it for a few more moments before going to find someplace to sleep for the rest of the night. After finding a cave you threw down your backpack and went to sleep.

*Steven's POV*

Me, my family and the Crystal Gems had decided to go spend some time at the beach. We had started to set our stuff up, Mom and Dad were setting up our picnic, while Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst set up the volleyball net. My mom gave me a warm smile.

"Steven, why don't you go and play? We'll call you when we're done setting up ok?"

She said smiling. I nodded happily before making my way down the beach. I decided to go exploring, as I was exploring I tripped over something, I looked to see a kid about 5 years old, fast asleep in a little cave. Startled I let out a yelp, waking them up. Their eyes snapped open to reveal (E/C) eyes filled with fear.

"PLEASE DON'T HIT ME!"

The child cried. I felt shocked, this kid thought I was going to hit them. It was then I noticed that they had bandages on their body, as well as a few bruises. I had to help this girl.

"Hey, it's ok. I'm not gonna hit you. My name's Steven, Steven Universe! I'm apart of the Crystal Gems! Do you need some help.....?"

"(Y/N)..............my name is (Y/N)..........."

I gave them a grin and held out my hand.

"Ok (Y/N) how's about we go fix you up? My mom is great with healing people."

(Y/N) gave me an unsure look before cautiously taking my hand. With my grin growing wider I lead her to my family.

*(Y/N)'s POV*

You follow Steven towards a group of people. One of them caught your attention. It was a tall chubby woman with pinkish skin, bright rose pink eyes and long, thick curly rose pink hair. She wore a white dress, a pink gem on her belly and she was barefoot. A man stood next to her, coming up to her shoulder. He wore a white tank top, jean shorts, and sandals. He had long brown hair though he was bald on the top of his head. You then look at the other three females. All of them had gems on their bodies, one was like a dancer with a pointed nose and neat orange hair. The other one had sunglasses on and was really tall, the third was about Steven's height with long purple hair and was chubby. You couldn't help but grow nervous around the women with gems.

"Mom, Dad! Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst! There's a kid who's hurt!"

Steven shouted dragging you behind him. The group were instantly by his side, worried looks on there faces.

"Steven is this the child?"

The tall pink woman asked, she looked so kind. You heard Steven respond and the woman gave you a gentle smile.

"Hello my child, I am Rose. This is my husband Greg, you've met my son Steven. And these three ladies are Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst. Why don't you come to our home and we can fix you up there."

You could only nod as you followed Rose to their home.

*Timeskip*

It's been about a half a year since you were taken in by the Universe family. It had taken a lot of digging but they soon learned why you were hurt so badly. Rose had then had a little chat with your old mother. You are now (Y/N) Universe, child of Greg and Rose Universe, (niece/nephew) of Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst, and younger sibling of Steven Universe. You loved them and they loved you, and you wouldn't have it any other way.
