Dave X Reader X John Part 1

They both loved you, though they didn't let it get in the way of their bromance. Dave Strider and John Egbert watched as you spoke to your close friend Gabi Bakers (That's me~!!), the two of you giggling at something that the other had said. The boys sighed as they admired you from afar, from your (S/C), to your sparkling (E/C) eyes and (H/L) (H/C). You were perfect in their eyes and they both wanted you for himself.

You giggled as Gabi retold a story about one of her and Karkat's dates. You were happy for the two of them, to be honest you were in a bit of a dilemma with your love life. You had a major crush on two of your best guy friends Dave and John. You don't know how it happened, it just did and it left you in between the boys' tension. You hated that you caused this unease between the two bros but the heart wants what it wants. The school bell rang causing you and Gabi to go to your lockers, while Gabi was getting her things a certain nubby horned troll came up beside her.

"Hurry up or we're going to be late!"

He snapped at the two of you. You roll your eyes while Gabi chuckled.

"Good morning to you too Vantas."

"Good morning love~!"

You watched as the chubby teen tackled her matesprite and gave him a kiss on the cheek causing his face to turn a bright candy red. After you had gotten your things the three of you made your way to class, and of course the self proclaimed Romance King himself began his usual routine of questions.

"Have you decided on who's gonna be your matesprite yet? I'm tried of hearing Strider and Egbert's bitching."

"No. I love them both Karkat, it's not that easy for me to choose between them!"

"Well you need to hurry the fuck up you asshat!"

Before you could say anything Gabi put herself in between the two of you.

"What he's trying to say (Y/N) is that you can't just leave Dave and John hanging. I know it's hard but you need to really think about it, and make sure it's the thing you want most."

You sigh at your friend and nod. Before the three of you could continue your conversation the teacher came in and class started.

*Timeskip cuz I've got nothing*

You were in gym class now, it was right before lunch and you had this class with Dave, Karkat, and Gabi. You were extremely grateful that the gym teacher had your three friends on the same team as you. The game you were playing was dodge ball, and you were at the moment dodging the balls as fast as you could. It was at that moment when you saw none other than Vriska Serket, who was playing on the opposite team give you a menacing grin before locking her eyes on Gabi who was flinching away from the rubber balls.

"HEY FAT FUCK CATCH!!!"

A sickening smacking noise echoed throughout the gym. Gabi had been hit right in the face, her glasses having broken and cut her nose and cheeks upon impact. She was now on the gym floor holding her face in her hands to stop the bleeding with you and Karkat rushing over to her.

"Gabi are you ok?!?"

"BABE..!! OH SHIT YOU'RE BLEEDING!!"

You felt rage shot through you as you watched your friend try not to cry as that bitch across the room laughed her ass off. Whirling you storm towards the other side of the court.

"YOU SPIDER BITCH!!!! HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO MY FRIEND!!"

You shouted, not noticing that Dave had sent the two to the nurse's office and make his way towards you to help you.

"She deserved it~ She was taking up half of the court anyway~!"

Vriska said, with a smirk. You were beyond pissed at this point in time and if it wasn't for Dave grabbing on to you, you would have kicked her ass. As you struggled against the Strider, he had already begun to make his way out of the gym and towards the nurse's office.

"Calm down (Y/N)."

"NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!!! THAT BITCH WILL PAY!!"

"I agree with you, but now is not the place nor time to go kicking asses and taking names."

You sigh angrily, knowing that he was right. You couldn't help but realize that Dave was literally carrying you. Your face exploded into a deep dark blush.

"Strider put me down I can walk.."

"Nope, you're too cute to let go."

You felt your heart race as Dave turned you towards him. You couldn't help but stare at him, your faces getting closer to each others. You were just as you were about to kiss a shout startled the two of you apart. You both turn to see John staring at the two of you looking hurt but trying not to show it.

"I uh, heard what happened to Gabi so I was coming to see her and see how she was doing...but I guess I walked in on something..."

"No John, you didn't! We were just about to go in the office!"

You spoke in a rushed voice, grabbing John's hand and pushing past Dave and into the office.

It was near the end of the day, you were sitting next to John in your science class, a bit jumpy. After that near kiss you had with Dave, you couldn't help but notice all of the hurt looks that John kept giving you when he thought you weren't looking. God why did love have to be so difficult?!?!? Finally the bell rang and you rushed out of your seat, you make it to your locker and throw everything in before booking it out of the school.

You were making your way home, your mind clouded with thoughts, you didn't know who to choose!

"Just give me a sign or something...!"

You mutter to yourself, as if the world heard you, you heard someone walk behind you. You turn your head to see a tall man following you. You felt your blood run cold as you try to get away from the stranger, unfortunately he was able to keep up with you. You soon found yourself trapped in a dead end, you felt like you were going to die.

'This is it!! I'm going to be killed in a damn alleyway!!!'

Your thoughts screamed at you. You turn your back on the stranger, preparing for the worst, when the sounds of a struggle filled the alley. After a few minutes of the fight going on you hear one of the people run off, you feel a hand on your shoulder and a familiar voice say,

"(Y/N) are you ok?!?"

You look up to come face to face with.......
