I slapped my alarm clock as I listen to Red by Taylor Swift. It was already morning and I only had 2 hours of sleep last night
I took deep breaths. A New Day, A New Life, I Became Stronger.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jaslene POV
It has been a month ever since Max and I official break up. It too my a while to get over it but I think I'm doing pretty well. Mom and I bonded a lot and we had a lot of shopping days and fun.
It turns out that camp was coming to an end. Well, I guess it won't hurt to visit May right? I smiled at the thought. "Mom, I'm heading out!," I said, grabbing a light sweater.
"Ok, come home soon," Mom answered. I headed out and called a taxi.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I stepped out of the taxi and looked at the welcome sign. I smiled, memories here. I walked inside. I saw May and the rest of the camp, doing an assignment. May was finishing up the obstacle.
I saw Max running and finishing up the obstacle. I stared at him and saw him passing a bottle to a girl... The girl, was a year older than me, she had blonde hair and was at pretty good speed.
After the obstacle challenge. Max and the girl got first place. "Woo! What a victory for Max and Ally!," May cheered at the crowd. People began clapping.
It was Ally Bakers! I frowned as I saw Ally plant a kiss on his cheek. I looked away and told myself to calm down.
"It's Jaslene!!," A girl screamed, jumping up and down. I turned around. I saw the whole camp staring at me. "Jaslene! Your back!!," May chirped running over to me. Everybody followed her.
I smiled. "Hey guys!," I said, smiling brightly. I shot a glance at Max and he stared back at me. On the other hand, Ally was attempting a smile.
"You were just in time for Max's birthday!," May exclaimed, clapping her hands. "It's fine, I'm just here to walk around and say hi to everybody," I replied.
"I'll take you," Somebody said. I looked to see who said that and I saw Max standing there. I nodded my head.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Max and I were walking side by side, in silence. As I past by my old cabin, I stopped. Max looked up. I stepped inside. I saw Ally, on my side of the bed. She saw me and glanced at Max.
"Hello Jaslene, I can finally meet you!," Ally said, taking out her hand. I just walked away and looked around to see any difference.
Ally frowned and went up to Max. "So Max, where are you taking me to dinner?," She chirped holding Max's hand. Max looked at me. "You should try the Italian Restaurant, that's where Max- they have nice seafood," I answered, smiling.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Max POV
The Italian Restaurant was where Jaslene and I started... I shot her a smile and she smiled back.
"That's a great idea! I'll get ready!," Ally exclaimed, running outside.
Jaslene and I stood there, looking at each other. "So how have you been?," I ask, breaking the silence.
"I've been good, very peaceful," She answered, smiling. "Seems like you found a new campmate," Jaslene said.
I nodded my head. "Yeah, Ally said she wanted to join so May agreed," I whispered. Jaslene nodded her head.
I went to to my bed and grabbed my old phone. "Here," I said, passing her my phone. She raised an eyebrow. "What's this?," Jaslene ask.
"The truth," I answered.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jaslene POV
I took the phone, it was on the voice recorder app. I clicked on it and started listening.
"Oh wow Max, still looking good, did that poor golddigger did anything to you?," - Ally
"It was you," - Max
"No one can have you, except me," - Ally
"Ally, I've known you since you were a little kid, why are you doing this to me?," - Max
"Poor little Maxxy, I had encouraged both your parents that when we turn 20 were getting married, but you, you never listen because little Jas is too precious for you," - Ally
"Ally, I treat you like a good friend, a best friend, but what you did was too viscious and I hope you stop before I do something!," - Max
"I treat you so well, but you don't feel what I have for you Max? Why? I'm richer, prettier, and BETTER Than her! Why do you choose her over me?!," - Ally
"Loving someone isn't about looks! A pretty face doesn't mean a pretty heart, and clearly you have no heart at all!," - Max
"What are you doing?!," - Max
"What do you think will happen when I send Jaslene this photo?," - Ally
"You dare!," - Max
"Now you better be a good little boy, and do as I say or else I will make it worldwide so everyone can see!," - Ally
"What do you want me to do?," - Max
"Break up with her, and were gonna be together, I want her to leave the camp, and when we turn 20 were getting married." - Ally
I watched as the recording stopped. I looked at Max, shocked. He nodded his head.
Max.... You did this for me...
I stared at him, I wanted to hug him so bad right now.
"Im ready!," Ally exlaimed. Max kept on staring at me.
"Max, lets go," Ally answered, deepened her voice. He nodded his head and followed her out.
I kept staring until their shadows left the cabin..
------------------
Max POV
Well the truth is finally settled, and Jaslene will the real reason why.
DING! A text message.
-Idc wht people around the world think, I love you Max and I know you still love me, we can work this out I promise! Jaslene -
I look at Ally, who was too busy on her phone, gossiping about how her best friend stole her dress.
I texted back,
-I love you Jaslene, but Ally can hurt you, and I know so, she can also make everybody hate you.. I dont want that to happen, im sorry but i think you have to forget about me Jaslene... find a better guy. -
I took a deep breath as I click the send button.
"Who you texting,?" Ally ask, frowning. I shrugged my shoulders, "My Mom,".
---_-------------------
Jaslene POV
I saw the text and held Maxs old phone on my other hand. Max.. I love you.
I left the cabin, looking at it one more time, as I left every good memory behind me. This was where Max and I started and where we ended...
