Previously -

He smiled, "Long Time No See, Jess," He said, as he walk up to me.

I  froze in shock. Jessica was my real name, and only my parents know that. This "Man" was my Father.

Jaslene POV

I stared at him, examined his face the most. Was this.. really him? Tears welled my eyes as I can see him the same way I saw him when he left....

4 Years Old Jaslene -

I drew a picture of a elephant in my drawing pad and slowly saw Dad walk in from the door. "Hi Dad!," I exclaimed. He didn't answer and walk into his room, the same room Mom was in right now.

I heard drawers break open, and I went outside their door to eavesdrop.

"Where are you going? You're just gonna leave Jessica and I here?!," Mom yelled.

"Shut The Hell Up! I found a woman who treats me better than you and is a wealthy, young lady," Dad yelled back.

"How could you?! I treat you so well!! You Lying ------," Mom screamed, while tears slipped from her eye.

"Whatever, let go of me you witch! I hope to never you see you AGAIN!," Dad exclaimed, and I heard his footsteps coming my way.

As the door open, Dad looked down at me. I look inside the room and saw drawers opened, glass broken, and Mom getting up from the floor.

"Where are you going?," I quietly ask. "None of your buisness you filthy child!," He answered, and walked outside.

"You better leave! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT SEEING JESSICA EVER AGAIN CAUSE UNTIL MY DAYS ARE OVER, YOU AND JESSICA WON'T MEET!," Mom screamed as the door closed.

All I heard was Mom's crying, and my sobbing. Nothing else....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wipe away the tears coming from my face. I shot a death glance at him. "What ARE YOU DOING HERE?!," I yelled, moving away from him.

"Let me explain," He started. "NO! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU! SO GET LOST!," I  screamed at him.

"Jaslene, I think you-," Max began. I interrupted him, "YOU'RE GOING TO HELP HIM??! I'M SORRY BUT I CAN NEVER FORGIVE HIM NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!," I exclaimed.

"Jessica, I know you have every right to be mad at me, all I want to do is see you, and-," Ken(Dad) said. "WELL, WHEN I WAS 4 I DIDN'T SEE YOU COMING BACK TO SEE ME?!," I yelled, as tears formed up my eyes again.

"You were so little, I just had some issues," Ken said, shaking his head.

"What issues? Did you remember what you called me? Let me tell you, YOU SPECIFICALLY SAID "NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS YOU FILTHY CHILD," I sobbed, looking at him.

"I was mad and-," He answered. "NO EXPLANATION, HOW COULD YOU JUST CHEAT ON MOM AND RUN OFF WITH ANOTHER WOMAN?!," I screamed.

"I-I'm sorry, but I'm your real father,Jessica," Ken said, walking foward.

I shook my head. "What father? Oh you mean mine? MY FATHER DIED A LONG TIME AGO, AND MY NAME IS JASLENE, NOT JESSICA, AND FOR THE LAST TIME, I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN!," I yelled and started running.

Max POV

I looked at Ken and he had on regret on his face. I started running and following Jaslene.

"Wait!," I kept yelling but Jaslene never stop running.

After 10 minutes of running, Jaslene stopped and fell onto the floor. "Are you okay?," I ask, helping her up. She started to cry on my shoulder, "This hurts so much Max!! How can my father do this to me?!," Jaslene said, sobbing.

I sighed. Jaslene has had too much pressure on her, I patted her back. "Why?!," She yelled.

15 minutes later, She finally fell asleep. I picked her up and walked back to the tent.

Later on - 1 Hour Later

I stared at Jaslene as she was still sleeping in her sleeping bag in which I put her in.

She woke up coughing, and I helped her up. "Here, drink some water," I said, passing her the bottle.

Jaslene took it and started drinking. "Where are we?," She ask, passing the bottle back. I took it and said, "Were in our tent, you slept and I carried you back here,".

"Thanks," Jaslene said looking at me. I smiled back, "You've been through so much and I'm sorry for setting this up with your- Ken," I answered.

She shook her head,"It's fine, you didn't know that I had this past," She replied, touching my hand.

We stayed silent for another 5 minutes and Jaslene broke the silence. "Do you think I'm a bad daughter for yelling at him?,"

I shruuged my shoulders. "To be honest, you did become a bit harsh but he did hurt you so you let your anger out of him," I said.

She nodded her head, "But Max, I really don't want to see him," Jaslene answered, with a hurt face. I nodded my head, "I know what to do," I replied.

Jaslene smiled, "What would I do without you?," She said smiling.

I grinned,"Same with me,".

Jaslene POV

"So what's for dinner?," I ask, getting out from my sleeping bag. Max took something out from his backpack. "Cup noodles?," He ask, taking it out.

"Sure, but we need boiling water," I said, frowning. Max went to his suitcase and pulled out a pot with the lid.

I smiled, "How many things can you fit in there?," I ask, taking a peek in his bag.

He smiled and began setting the fire and the pan.

Today was a day to remember.
