My birthday flew by six months and Dad still hasn't answered my question. And I still have another wish that needs to be granted. We were on the couch watching some crime investigation show and I grew tired to bring up the question about Mom but the timing never felt right.
I got annoyed and sighed off to bed early when I was clearly not tired at all. Dad didn't even say 'goodnight' as his eyes were glued to the TV screen and I slightly got pissed, partly because I had school tomorrow and an assignment was due the next day. I went upstairs to my room and got inside bed, still thinking about Mom. "Okay sweetheart what's wrong?" asked Dad as he plopped himself on my bed. I didn't even realise he came into my room.
"Nothing," I said shaking my head. Silence started to creep into the room and I got uncomfortable as Dad was still waiting for an answer.
"Is it about Mom?" Dad sighed.
"No," I lied, slowly creeping under the covers of my bed.
"You know you can't hide from. No one can, believe me I know," he chuckled.
"Well you can tell me at least one thing about her," I said my voice muffled against the blanket.
"Well let's see. You are the spitting image of her."
"You always say that."
"But it's true except she had black hair while you hair is a beautiful brownish red."
"Was she beautiful?" I asked really wanting to know as I sat straight up now.
"Yes she was...the most beautiful being I've ever laid eyes on...until you came along," he said, more saying it to himself. "Okay time for bed."
"But I'm not tired!" I whined.
"Yes you are," he said back, kissing my forehead. Surprisingly I was tired but I wasn't going to let him know that.
"No I'm not," I yawned as I laid back now.
"Your eyes are closed darling. Just give up the fight."
"No."
"Goodnight," he finally said as he closed the door. Soon after I drifted off into a sleep and straight into a nightmare. And by nightmare I mean Axel visiting me in a dream.
When a demon enters into your dream it's called Demon Play but everybody in the English world calls it a nightmare. And as always we're in a house that's on freaking fire! "Axel! Why are we always in a house that's on fire?!" I yelled out.
"It has to be a nightmare so I can see you in your sleep...and the place is on fire because the last place I was at...was Hell," explained Axel.
"Get out of my head! I need some sleep. I have school tomorrow."
"I haven't seen you in ages and this is the 'hello' I get! Some best friend you are," Axel yelled sarcastically. "Are you on your period or something?"
"Why do men always think that's the case? And if you must know my time of the month was last September," I growled.
"You know what I'll just leave sub-conscious mind because clearly you're pissed!" he yelled getting louder.
"Leave then! That's the only thing you're good at! I yelled when suddenly the fire vanished and I was back to my normal sleepy state. I sat straight up again and flashed my eyes open to my dreamy Ian Somerhalder poster on my wall. "You're so hot," I yawned as I heavily lay back down to sleep.

I was at after school detention with Mrs Heston who looks like a fat tanned pumpkin on high heels. It is a wonder how she ever got into those tight clothes. There were only four of us here, which included Thorne Daniels (the school rebel), James Parker (the school Jock) and Melody Newman (Goth) and then you got me Megan Cooper, girl who likes to keep to herself.
