And friends don't treat me like you do.

Well I know that there's a limit to everything,

but my friends won't love me like you.

If we try to keep those secrets safe.

No one will find out if it all went wrong...

"Yo I'm ready to get a tan," Chris blurted out as we walked on the boardwalk to go join the others on the sand.

We all decided that we should have a beach day.

Chris was always blurting out some random s***. His pale ass could use it.

"Yeah your lightskin ass needs one," I joked and looked up at the sun.

Today was mad nice out. All I needed was for the day to be relaxing.

"N**** you could only say that s*** cause you got a little more color than me, but I could still pull any of your thots. All of them hoes," he continued then kept going on and on.

I was listening, that was until we reached our spot and I saw Cherie in her bathing suit. She had on one of those one pieces with the cut outs and it wasn't attached in the back.

You could see her curves and all. Her boobs were perked up and her ass looked as if she was doing those squat workouts that those girls go crazy for on Instagram. She didn't have a six pack but her stomach was just right. Enough so that if you laid on it, it wouldn't feel like a hard wash board.

"Damn," I whispered to myself unaware that Chris could really hear me. Once it slipped out I didn't care. It wasn't as if I said something inappropriate. I learned how to watch what I said about her in front of Chris.

"Don't be checking out my sister bruh," he joked then put the cooler that he was holding down.

This was going to be harder than I thought.

After putting everything down and setting up the music, I walked over to Cherie and pulled her into a hug that wasn't so "friendly." She smelled heavenly. S*** was already biting me in the ass.

She built up some strength and pushed me away.

"Eww," she didn't seem to be playing around.

"So that's how you treat your friends," I asked with a cocky smirk and her eyes narrowed.

"Friends hug friends like that? Yeah, go somewhere O."

I laughed at her and walked over to where we were set up to sit down on a towel.

It was already getting hotter, so I took off my t-shirt. I heard whistles from my right and saw them coming from Aria and Reyna.

Cherie just stood there rolling her eyes. Frontin' ass. I would be lying if I said this little back and forth thing going on between us wasn't entertaining.

Don't get me wrong I want the girl, I'm just not sure when and if I should risk our friendship; if it hasn't even been risked already. I don't really mean to be giving her mixed signals. S*** is just confusing all around.

"What's good yall," the voice sounded familiar but I had to turn back to see who it was. Jermaine stood there with Reyna, Taeya, August, Dani, my cousin Mike, Chance, Naudia, Gia, Trey, and Aubrey.
