I've always thought of them as "the trio" so I thought it would be fitting if I got them all at once in the story.

Silverblaze was still weak even after a while. He was underweight and I wanted him to gain some before I did anything with him. So I was out on Darkstar, his training was coming along nicely. He was far harder then Midnight to train, and would take off or buck quite often but I needed him to get used to different environments so I started taking the risk of bringing him out with me during the day. Today I was looking to buy a horse. The Druids had started sending me on more intense missions, and Midnight was still a little to spooky to bring on them, plus I needed a quiet horse and Midnight was anything but that. Cinnamon was to slow for this, there were situations where I'd had to chase people multiple times or get away from them. I'd thought about Ruby but while she was calm and quite, she'd been a lesson horse for so long her training hadn't gone very high level, she couldn't jump to high or do complicated things. I could train her, but it would take a while and I could tell even more dangerous missions were coming soon. So the quickest solution would be to buy another horse to fit my needs. I needed a generally calm quite horse, who was confident in scary situations. So I took Darkstar around Jorvik looking at horses for sale. As I rode past a small stable I heard people arguing. Before I could figure it out, the sudden yelling has spooked Darkstar and he bolted. I knew Darkstar and unlike Midnight who calmed fairly quickly, he wouldn't stop until he was away. The people continued shouting which didn't help, and Darkstar bolted out into the Forgotten Fields. Once we were out in open he immediately decided to have a bucking fit. I lost both stirrups and ended up hugging his neck to stay on. Suddenly he stopped bucking and halted. Relieved, I pushed myself back into the saddle before turning to see what he was looking at. Standing in front of us was a beautiful buckskin North Swedish horse looking slightly nervous. I wondered why he was out here. Ever since meeting Silverblaze, I was slowly becoming able to talk to my other horses as well. So far I could talk to all of the horses I owned but Darkstar, but I had the feeling that was because he still didn't trust me nearly as much as the others. Between that and the missions I'd finally accepted that I was a Soul Rider. I got off of Darkstar knowing he wouldn't go anywhere thanks to the grass and walked up to the horse. "Are you lost?" I asked him. I didn't expect an answer, he didn't know me at all. I continued talking to him anyway. "I can help you, I don't know why your out her but I'll help you" I reassured the horse as I walked closer. He let me approach and stroke his neck. "Your a very handsome horse" I told him, knowing that my own horses loved being complimented like that. I glanced back to see Darkstar getting antsy again and knew I had to make this quick. I walked over and grabbed my lead rope out of my saddle bag and used it to make a makeshift halter to lead this horse with. Keeping hold on the lead I mounted Darkstar and walked across the field back the way I came. I saw that the small farm was quite now and decided to see if they knew this horse. I got off my horse and knocked on the door. A guy came to the door abs answered it "Hello" he said clearly annoyed to have someone here. "Hi, I was just wondering if you know this horse? I found him in the fields" I quickly explained. The guy gave an annoyed sigh. "Yup he's mine, that's the third time he's escaped. I'm getting sick of it, please just take him" he said in an angry voice before slamming the door in my face. Rude I thought to myself. I turned and looked at the horse I now had. He was clearly quite spooky, so while I was glad to have him I knew I couldn't take him on missions either. "You can help me find a horse to buy then" I told the horse as I got on Darkstar. I trotted down to a sign I'd briefly noticed when Darkstar took off. It said "Horses for Sale" and pointed to two small paddocks. I looked in the geldings' paddock which appeared to have close to ten horses in it. It seemed a little overcrowded in my opinion. I noticed descriptions of each horse hung along the fence. I started reading them over and looking at the horses they described. During that time I though of a name for the North Swedish Horse. I decided to call him Sunspirit, I didn't know exactly why but looking at him it just suited him. I finally narrowed it down to two horses, both Arabians. One was a solid black, the other was a speckled horse that looked almost orange honestly, but I knew it must be some kind of chestnut. I pet both horses and introduced them to Darkstar and Sunspirit to see which would work best with me and my horses. In the end I chose the speckled one, whose name was Stormchaser. Just as I paid for him, I watched amazed as a gray and white paint mare jumped the paddock fence. The lady in charge of the place immediately yelled to the guy helping her "Winter's out again!" "Wait she's done that before?" I asked. That horse was a good jumper if she did this as often as they made it sound like. "Yeah all the time" the lady said as if it was really starting to bother her. "She always goes to see Hawk over there" the lady the added pointing at an overo in the geldings' paddock. I couldn't help it, "How much is she?" I asked. I wanted to train that mare to jump, she would do well in the show ring. I soon had her with me as well, as I signed the paper I saw her full name was Wintermist. Soon I trailered all three of the horses I'd gotten today home. .As I left I texted Nina directions to this place, she'd told me to text her any places I found with some good horses for sale. Remembering what the lady has said about Winter going to see Hawk I then texted her "I think you should look at an overo named Hawk". I'd come out intending buy one horse and I'd gotten three, funny how things just happen like that.
