before leaving the house, hoseok tied a cloth around my eyes for me not to know what the surprise was. i was getting a little impatient so i decided ti speak up.

" hoseok! when are we gonna get there? " and then i felt the car halt into a stop.

" are we here? "

" nope, not yet " he said

" well then why did we stop? "

" to do this " the next thing i know, a pair of soft warm lips were planted unto mine. i can feel him smiling through the kiss, which made me smile too. his lips unattached from mine a few moments later.

he was such a good kisser, good lord

i felt the car move again, signaling that hoseok is driving. his hand found its way unto mine. i smiled at the gesture. after a few minutes, the car came to a stop again. screams and laughs were heard from afar.

" are we here? like for real? " he didn't speak instead i heard the car door opening and closing which made me anxious, thinking that i'm alone in the car. just then, i felt my door side open. a pair of hands found its way on mine as it guided me outside. hoseok closed the door without a word.

loud screams and squeals were definitely the first thing i heard, and the smell of the ocean was evident to my nose. a few moments later, the cloth was removed from my face, giving me my eyesight once again. i blinked a few times to remove the blurriness from my eyesight. once it was all clear, i saw bright lights and big rides. i saw different colors and different people. i turned to hoseok, his teeth was evident as he smiled widely. i jumped into his arms.

" jung hoseok! you did not! " i said as i unattached from our hug and look at the carnival fair.

" did you like it? it's this carnival's last day here so i decided to take you! " he said as he attached our hands and began walking to the entrance. i pulled out my wallet to get some money but hoseok beat me to it. i gave him the "are-you-serious" look. he looked at me with a smile then shrugged.

" yah! jung hoseok! why did you pay for that! i totally got it! " i smacked his arm, resulting him to groan in pain. he rubbed his arm while pouting.

" well i wanted to pay! i'm being a gentleman here! " he said as he puts even more. i sigh and apoligise.

" i know you wan't to be a gentleman and all that but i hate it when people pay for me. i love it when i get to spend my own money, the one i work hard for " i said as i took his arm and planted a playful kiss on it.

" now let me pay y- "

" hoseok let me p- "

" hoseok just let me- "

" fine fine fine! but i have to buy you ice cream and if you say no i'm bailing this date! " i said as pointed a finger at him, he opens his mouth to respond but closed it again. he huffs before nodding in agreement. i smiled then kissed his cheek before i take his hand and skip all the way to the rides.
