it was three in the morning. aunt kara had moved their flight from nine in the evening to three in the morning (earlier flight), an order she got from her weeping niece. she was heartbroken to see her niece nonstop crying, she had thought that hoseok was the one for her but she thought wrong.
ash had not slept a wink, there were dark bags under her puffy bloodshot eyes. she had tried not to cry infront of her aunt but she didn't handle well the pain. she had always thought that the love between her an hoseok would he true but she was wrong. here she stands, sitting down on the waiting room before boarding her flight with he beloved relative.
she had called the boys (except for hoseok ofcourse), bambam, and yuri about her change of plans. they were all shocked at first but they guess they can't do anything about it and just be there until her last goodbye. her eyes were suddenly blocked by a rose scented hand. she removed the hand to and squinted her eyes to see better. there stood yuri, the rest of bangtan and the got7 group.
" surprise! " yuri squealed while she attacked ash with a hug, the rest joined in.
" y-you guys c-came " ash stuttered out, trying not to cry infront of her friend.
" ofcourse we did! we wouldn't miss it for the world! " yuri exclaimed while taehyung and bambam slung their arms on her shoulders. she smiled at the group. her lips quivered, her eyes glistened. you can see that they were all trying so hard not to cry but it was use. soon after a single tear left ash's eyes, they all followed. soon enough they were all a crying mess.
" flight 312 Philippine Airlines will be boarding in 10 minutes " the announcer said. it was time for her last goodbye. one bye one, she said her goodbyes. it started with yuri, and ended with jimin.
" thank you all for being the bestest friends that i had ever had, i will treasure all the memories that i have made with every single one of you " ash managed to say without breakin into sobs. they did one last group hug before one by one, they left, but jimin stayed.
" i really want to stay until i see you leave but the rest of the boys are waiting for me. please stay safe and message me when you land, okay? " jimin said as he engulfed her in a warm embrace.
" yes mom, i will " ash joked which made jimin crack a smiled.
" i'm sorry about what happened... " jimin said while still embracing ash. ash managed to smiled.
" it's okay, you did nothing wrong " ash hugged him tighter.
" and i'm sorry about this " jimin mumbled under his breath. ash furrowed her eyebrows, before she can ask what, a panting hoseok appeared infront of them.
" flight 312 Philippine Airlines will be boarding in 5 minutes " the announcer said.
" well, that's my cue. be safe and i'll miss you " jimin kissed her cheek before leaving the two behind.
" why didn't you tell me you were leaving earlier " hoseok angrily said.
" because it didn't matter " ash said calmly while picking up her things. ash turned her back at hoseok, preparing to leave, when hosoek caught her wrist and turned her around.
" ofcourse it matters! i'm your boy- "
" you don't have the right to call yourself my boyfriend after what happened! " ash shouted, earning looks from the people walking by.
" if you'll just let me- "
" flight 312 Philippine Airlines is now boarding, calling all passengers " the announcer said for the third time. ash removed hoseok's grip from her and started to walk toward the boarding gate when hoseok blocked her way.
" are you just gonna throw away what we had? just like that? " hoseok whispered.
" i wasn't the cause of the problem hoseok, you were. forget about me hoseok and live without me, clearly i was just a speed bump in the pathway of your life " ash said before kissing his cheek and leaving hoseok behind. hoseok watched her and her aunt get in the the boarding gate, along with ash bringing a piece of his broken heart.
all he wanted was to be with her and only her,
all he wanted was to grow old with her,
all he wanted was to be loved by her,
all he wanted was to hold her until his last breath,
i guess not everything we want, we get.
