late nights are supposed to be enjoyed by partying or sleeping, but not for ash. she's been pacing around her room all night thinking of a way how to break the news down to hoseok. she looked at the clock, it read: 12:58 a.m.she sighed as she plopped down on her bed. she was scared, so scared that she can't even function clearly.

ash loved him so much that she can't even imagine a day without hearing his voice or seeing his face. that's when she lost it. she started to sob quite hard. she stood up and wiped the tears from her cheeks, trying to stop the water from her eyes from falling but she just can't. she changed her clothes to hoodie and sweatpants before locking her apartment door and running to hoseok's.

since her apartment was only a block away from hoseok's, she managed to go there within ten minutes. she was panting hard while salty tears flow through her tomato red cheeks. she arrived at their front door. she knocked on it a few times before a sleepy and annoyed min yoongi opened the door. yoongi rubbed his eyes tiredly as he looked at ash. his eyes widened at the sight of her.

" what the... "

" i'm sorry yoongi but i can't right now, can i come in and go to hoseok? i really need something to tell him "

" so important that you need to tell him in this time- " yoongi said, irritation laced in his voice before he got cut off by her.

" please yoongi! " ash said as she cried out.
she sobbed harder as yoongi's eyes softened and let her in. yoongi led her to hoseok's room where he opened the door for her to come in. ash mumbled a silent ' thank you ' before entering the room. the first thing that caught ash's eyes was a peaceful sleeping hoseok. hoseok was in messy sleeper's position where his legs were sprawled on the bed while he hugged the pillow tightly.

ash sat down on the bed before caressing his face. she sat there for a minute, just admiring his beauty. she's gonna miss this, she's gonna miss the moments that she can do this. hoseok slowly woke up. he smiled as soon as he saw ash but frowned when he saw her crying. he stood up and rubbed his eyes to get a better vision of her.

" ash? what- what happened? why are you crying? are you hurt- "

" i'm leaving "

" w-what? "

" i-i'm leaving k-korea, for g-good. m-my aunt is t-taking me b-back to the p-philippines " the moment she said, she broke down almost immediately. hoseok pulled her closer to her. ash felt the warmthness of hoseok surrounding her, making her calm down. hoseok was fighting the urge to burst into tears.

" w-why? w-why are y-you leaving? " hoseok stuttered as he felt the tears about to flow.

" i still don't know why i'm leaving, my aunt said that she'll tell me when she gets here " ash managed to say inbetween sniffles. hoseok's hand snaked unto her waist as he pulled her towards him. his face snuggled on the crook of her neck, letting her feel his warmth. the two just stood there savouring the moment, until hoseok spoke in hushed whispers.

" how long do you have till you leave? "

" a-about a w-week... "

" then we won't waste our time with you. i'll make sure you have the best time of your life for this week! and i'm sure we'll work it out! long distance isn't a bad thing! don't cry anymore okay? you look pretty when you cry but you're prettier when you don't. " hoseok caressed her face as he tucked in a piece of her hair behind her ears. they stayed there for the until sunrise in each others arms. they couldn't have asked for anything more than just to be with each other.
