It's remarkable that the same crusaders on the Internet who advocate for the protection of minorities and people with mental/physical disabilities, are the same people routinely mocking / verbally abusing people in the public eye who have a mental illness. You wonder why musicians rarely speak up about their mental illnesses, and the Internet made me wish I never said a fucking word. How counter-productive. Hypocrites.
Thank you to anyone who takes mental illness as seriously as it should be taken. Thank you for being an ally.
