Chapter 6

Justin

As much as I love annoying Pheonix, it's irritating how she goes along with it and uses my own sarcasm against me. She's really different from all the other girls that I've hooked up with before. Instead of being a crybaby about my comments, she sasses me back, which is surprising, considering the fact that I'm the one that always gets the last word. But no, she just has to be smart about it. Just thinking about that was giving me a headache.

We reached the kitchen, where Riley, Moose, Caleb, and Nick were chowing down their food. Caleb gave Pheonix a head to toe look and got back to his scrambled eggs. Riley was chugging down his milk, Moose was eating an apple, and Nick was just...eating everything.

"Morning, ray of sunshine," Caleb smirked towards Pheonix.

She rolled her eyes and stood there, arms crossed over her chest, her siblings standing beside her, looking around with wide eyes. They were reasonable, but the fact that they were related to the biggest bitch in the world really ruined my perspective of them.

"What are your plans for today?" Moose asked as he took a sip of his orange juice.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "We're going....shopping."

There was a moment of silence, and then all four of them erupted into a deep fit of uncontrollable laughter. Riley literally spilled his glass of milk on the floor, spilling the drink everywhere. Nick was slapping the table from how hard she was laughing. God, give me the strength to not kill them, I silently prayed. Pheonix was just standing there with a straight face. That's a good thing, because if she would have laughed, I would have flipped shit everywhere. I shot them glares and they shut up almost immediately.

"Sorry," They mumbled at the same time as they wiped tears from their eyes.

Pheonix was tapping her foot on the floor impatiently. "Either way, I can't go out like this," She addressed to her pajamas, which she has been wearing since we broke into her house last night.

"Well, we don't have any female clothes," I pointed out with a "You're so stupid" tone of voice, which pissed her off. I bit down a laugh as I watched her scowl at me. It was just too messing with her head.

Nick cleared his throat and raised his hand slightly. "Um, I do."

Moose spit out his orange juice, splattering it all over the mahogany table. We all stared at Nick with our mouths hanging out. Caleb dropped his slice of toast as he stared at Nick with wide eyes. Even Pheonix's brother had his eyebrows raised, making me want to laugh. Pheonix was staring at Nick like he had gone crazy. Nick rolled his eyes.

"It's not what you think it is. Paige has left her clothes here sometimes." He explained.

Ah, Paige. His girlfriend. She's one bitch, I'll tell you that. Pretty feisty. She's hot, but that's about it. Nick seems like he likes her, but we can't be sure since they mostly spend time in his bedroom doing something that no one wants to see.

"Oh," Riley sighed in relief. "I thought that you were getting a little....too curious. Besides, I don't think that Victoria Secret will look good on you."

"That's my favorite store," I licked my lips as I imagined the models strutting their stuff down the runways.

Pheonix rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips, turning to fully face me. "Are we leaving?"

I exhaled loudly and nodded rigidly. "Nick, give her something to wear because she kills me with her attitude." I gritted my teeth afterwards as I glared at her.
