chapter eighteen

Lou's pov

" So Vane what are we going to call our Daughter ". He smile's and says. " How about Meline it was my mother's name ". I nod and smile.

So we have a daughter Meline is beautiful and I'm back home now. I was only in hospital for a few day's. My Father and Vane's Father are coming by this afternoon to see there Granddaughter.

I am looking forward to seeing Mannero again, he was so good to me the last time I saw him. I know he is very excited about be ing a grandfather.

" Vane can you get me Meline bottle please ". Vane is in the kitchen he is fussing around me like a mother hen. You would think I was ill never mind the fact I have just had a baby.

I laugh to myself as I think this through. Vane come's in with the bottle. " Thank you are you working today ". He shake's his head. "No I'm staying here with you and Meline ". I nod.

He has been to the oil field's in day's but I know it because he want's to be with us. I also need to him about me going back to work at the preschool. I know he wont like the the idea of me going back to work but, I like working.

I'll wait until after everyone is gone before, I tell him that, I want to go back to work. I have spoken with Chris who own's the preschool, she says I can take the baby to work with me.

I can't see Vane agreeing to leting me but only time will tell. " Lou your Father will be here any minute is Meline ready ". I look at our daughter dressed all in pink. " Yes Vane were ready ".

Vane's pov

I'm so happy to have Lou and Meline home. Our beautiful little girl is a hybrid half werewolf/half human but she is our's. My Father will be here soon along with Lou's Father Edward.

I have told my Father to say nothing about us being werewolves to Lou's Father as he doesn't know. He has agreed but he is not happy about hiding what we are and what is Granddaughter is.

I hear the door just after, I ask Lou if Meline is ready. I open the door to see a smiling Eward. " Hello Vane where are the girl's ". I smile and point to the lounge.

And then I hear him excitedly talking with Lou and our little girl. That's when I hear the door again, I open the door to see my Father. " Hello Father ". He smile's and nod's. " Hello Vane ".

We then walk in to the lounge together, where we all sit together and talk. They new Granddad's take it in turn's holding there new Granddaughter.

They stay for a few hour's and then leave, once they are gone. I look at Lou she seem's worried. " What's wrong Lou ". She smile's and says. " Vane I want to go back to work in six week's ".

I shake my head. " I have more than enough money for us to live ". She shake's her head. " It's not the money, I enjoy my job and, I can take Meline with me ". I shake my head and walk away.

Lou's pov

I knew he would be unhappy about be going back to work but to walk away like this. I put Meline down in her cot and go to find Vane. I find him in the kitchen. " What are you in such a mood about ".

" You have our baby to look after Lou ". I nod my head. " I know but, I can do both ". He shake's his head. " No Lou, I want you home with our daughter ".

I walk away now why does he have to make everything so hard.
