Chapter twenty

Lou's pov

" Maybe you could come to an arrangement where you could work for Vane and he could pay you ". I think about what Mannero has said to me and decide I  it could work out well.

I thank Mannero for everything and, then I decide to head home to see if Vane has calmed down any while I have been out. We hug and then I get in to my car and drive home.

Vane's pov

I'm getting worried about about Lou she has been gone for hour's and now it's getting dark. I decide to ring my Father to see if he has seen her.

I dial his number and it ring's three time's before I hear my Father's voice. " Hello ". I sigh. " Father have you seen Lou I'm worried ".

" Yes Vane she has just left here ". I'm so relieve to know she is okay. " Thank you Father ".

" Vane give Lou a job working for you doing paper work or something , she want to feel useful and indepent ". I sigh she has told him about our fight.

" Yes I will Father, I worked out that was the problem after she left ". We talk for a while, I then hear her car pulling up outside the house.

I tell my Father I will talk to him later as Lou has arrived and Meline need's feeding. As I hang up I hear the front door open.

" Lou thank god your safe ". She smile's weakly and we hug. " I'm sorry Vane I just needed space ".

" I know and I'm sorry too, I acted like an alpha wolf stamping my foot ". We both laugh and then Meline decide's to start crying.

" I'll finish dinner and you can feed Meline ". She nod's and I go to the kitchen to finish dinner.

Lou's pov

I overreacted I know that now thank's to Mannero and his little pet talk as he called it. He has made me feel better in myself. 

I wish we could live there but, I know Vane will never agree to that as he hate's it there.

I have just finished breast feeding Meline and she has gone back to sleep. Then Vane come's in with my dinner.

I put Meline down in her rock a tot car seat and eat my dinner with Vane. We cuddle up on the sofa and watch a film.

Now it is getting late and it's time for bed. Vane carries Meline up to her room and put's her in her cot.

I turn the baby montier on and then we retire to our room. I look out the bedroom window and remember a time when I used to dream of watching him running around as a wolf.

" Princess are you alright ". I nod. " I was just remember my dream's ". He come's up behind me and hug's me.

" Ah yes our naughty dream's where I made love to you all night long ". I nod and laugh. " Yes those dream's ".
