Rippling surface, head under the water,
Rosy pink hues fill the sky.
Body is twitching, getting hazy,
So much effort to continue to try.
In the danger zone, electric shock,
Fingers reaching and body grows colder.
Mind goes blank, eyes roll back,
Yet the desire to survive only grows stronger.
Feet are numb, breath leaves in bubbles,
Thoughts of a forgotten lover in time...
Shallow heart, yet it's still beating,
I must do justice for my crime.
