"W-What's wrong, Mrs Anderson?" I asked nervously. I had just been dragged out of a horrible situation with a ugly bully and an angry teacher.
"Are you all right, love? There's a brouse on your cheek. What ever did Natasha do?" Mrs Anderson smiles, touching my face gently.
"Yes." I mutter, covering my cheek."Nothing."
"She pushed you again, didn't she? You are lucky I came in to save you."
"Thank you. I appreciate it, Dad would have been devastated if he got a call from the school saying his daughter has been involved in a fight."
"I understand. Class is starting soon."
"Oh yeah." I peered at my watch. '7:59', I had 1 minute to get to class, great. Then I remembered. The card! The cake! "Mrs Anderson! I-"
"Guess what! You have extra acting today! With me! I'm so excited, Daisy. Aren't you?" Mrs Anderson squealed.
I hesitated.. Mrs Anderson hardly interrupts people. Perhaps she didn't hear me? Yep. Go with that, Daisy.
"Really? Yay!" I said back, trying to be enthusiastic.
"Of course!" Now was my chance, to give Mrs Anderson her cake and card. Hopefully she hears me this time, that would be perfect.
"Umm.. So, Mrs Anderson-"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG! Goes the school bell. Now? Why now? Ugh!
"Good heavens! I didn't know it was that close. Gotta pop, Daisy dear. See you in a minute!" Mrs Anderson smiles, clasping her purple snake skinned hand bag and sprinting towards the door. Milliseconds later, I'm alone in an empty classroom, looking like an idiot. This is just my day, eh?!"So class!" Mrs Anderson grins, 8:05am sharp. "I never got round to telling you yesterday, but the play is.." My heart is thumping. What could it be? All of these plays whirl around my head non-stop like a machine. Then Mrs Anderson says the three words. The three words that I love. The three words make me feel special...
Romeo And JulietI scream in happiness. Romeo. And. Juliet. YESSS! Many people stare at me including Alfie, Natasha and Melanie. But did I care? No. To be honest, the only thing that I cared about right now was the play. The great great great wonderful play!
"So let's think about roles." Mrs Anderson explains, "Let's start with Juliet. Anyone up for Juliet?"
The classroom is silent. Why would nobody want this role? Looks like this is my cue. I stand up tall and proud, looking over the staring children below me.
"Well it looks like Daisy gets th-" Mrs Anderson tries to say until she is interrupted by the sound of the chair squeaking. Somebody else stands up. I look over at the person. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Excuse me, one minute please.ARFHHYSHSBZGZHSTSGSBBSHS HSHSH SHSHSNSBGSHSJSJHVYG. Thank you. I stare at the person who stood up. Natasha. What is her problem? It's so obvious, She's only doing this to annoy me. "Ahh! Looks like we are going to need a vote!" Yells Melanie Northcoat. I hear a few children cheer and Melanie stands up.
"EVERYONE FOR DAISY BARNS!" Screams Melanie, pointing at, me. Nobody puts there hand up. Not even a finger.
"EVERYONE FOR NATSHA LÈCOURE!" Melanie screams agin, this time pointing at Natasha. Everyone shoots there hand up as if Natasha would bite them if they didn't. I sigh and sit down the put me head on my hands on the desk.
You were never going to get the role of Juliet, what were you thinking, Fat Cow? Ha ha ha.
I begin to cry pathetically while Melanie backs away from me I'm a monster.
You are a monster, Fat Cow. I'm not surprised she's backing away from you. Who wants to be your friend? Ha ha ha.
My cries get louder and louder and now everyone is backing away from me.The lesson is finally over, and relief is rushing through my body. Now I can finally be alone with Mrs Anderson and give her the card and the cake. Finally. I scuttle over to her excitedly, my hand deep into my sky blue backpack I made.
"Hi Mrs Anderson! I was wondering if we could ta-"
"Oh umm, maybe not now. I have to run, love. Sorry!" She replied, running of. Was Mrs Anderson trying to avoid me or something? This wasn't like her. Sadly, I walked through the door only the be greeted by Natasha, Alexa and Elise.
"Real sad when I got the role of Juliet! Weren't ya, Fat Cow?"
"Ugh.."
"Gonna punch her again, loner? Then is Mrs Anderson gonna save you? Teachers pet!" Alexa smirks as I raise my fist. I can't do it, especially after this morning.
"Yeah! Your such a baby! I mean, we saw you cry after Natasha got to role. Pathetic." Elise adds. I hated these girls too, but not as much as Natasha. I try to run away but turn around when I hear Natasha call my name.
"What's this piece of junk?" Natasha yells, a smile reaching from ear to ear. Great. Right at this moment, Mrs Anderson's card just has to slip out my bag. In front of Natasha as well. She holds the card in front of my face, waving it about like a child.
"Give it back!" I shout while attempting to snatch it of Natasha.
"Yeah right." Natasha opens my card to reveal the secret message inside;Dear Mrs Anderson,
~0~
Happy Birthday! I hope your having a great day so far. I also hope you enjoy the special red velvet cake I made you myself. Do you like red velvet? I hope you do! I added your favourite toppings to, Wine Gums and Harribos ["Sounds Gross!" Natasha comments."] Enjoy! I'm really excited about the play as well. What play is it? If you didn't know already, I love acting and it would be wonderful if you could pick me for at least something. Anyway, have a wonderful day, Mrs Anderson!

From Daisy Barns xPS: Natasha keeps bullying me. She's such a pig!
That was it. Now Natasha had read that.. I was done. I couldn't help but smirk at Natasha's face when she read my PS.
"So you think I'm a pig then, Barns?"
"Pretty much." I laugh, the words just slipped out my mouth.
"That's it girls!" Natasha threw my card to the ground and began to stomp on it and wrap it. Then Alexa and Elise joined in. My card was ruined. I heard footsteps getting closer and closer. Who was it? Natasha, Alexa and Elise ran away at top speed. Then Mr Brewer appeared from the shadows. I bent down and picked up my card, Superman.
"Miss Barns."
"Mr Brewer."
Then Mr Brewer stomped past, not taking any notice if the dirty and ripped card in my hands. Thank heavens for that! I decided to begin my journey to the lunch hall and managed to end up lass in the gym on my way. People were doing thing like karate and yoga. And just as I walked past, a huge, colossal foal ball whacked me on the back, squashing my bag and the contents inside. I ended up running to the lunch hall in the end. So much for keeping it cool, Daisy. I enter the lunch room and walk over to the food selection. After I had got my food, I settled at a clean lonely table at the back and ate my food alone. It was yummy, same as everyday. Eventually, I had finished and just as I got up to put my plate away I crashed into Alfie Blair again and splattered food all over him.
"Omg, I'm so sorry!" I wipe curry and veggies of Alfie with a napkin while people stare at us cluelessly. This was SOOO embarrassing. What a great day this was.I had made it to the end of the day. What a miracle. Today had been the worst, just when I had thought it'd been the best. I sit on a step outdone the school and open my bag. I take out the filthy, ripped card and the squashed cake and stare at them. Sometimes I wanna kill my self. Why didn't I have to be born? Whyyy? I throw the card and the cake in a nearby bin and sigh.
Won't be needing them anymore..
