Leoarai ONESHOTS!!!

Always...

This takes place during Vengeance is Mine but instead Karai is too unstable and just wants Leo instead of going after Shredder.

Karai was tied up...in chains. She laid on the stone cold floor of the Shredder's cell once more. She slowly opened her eyes, terrified.

Shredder wanted information from her but she didn't tell him. He didn't deserve to know. The whole thing was really meant for Leo but she let him flee and was taken by the Shredder himself. She knew no body would come to her rescue. She thought she deserved what was coming to her.

Scars decorating her body along with her ripped, blood stained outfit. She hasn't eaten for three months straight, maybe longer. She didn't know. She didn't care. She was too weak. She nearly forgot who she was.

Her life was ripped from her by him.

This was now a routine for her,

1. Wake Up!

2. Get beaten by Shredder's minions maybe even Shredder himself

3. Go unconscious

4. Wake up again.

5. Don't eat!

6. Don't drink.

7. Repeat.

She was dehydrated. She lost so much weight over the months, she swore she was just bones with flesh laying on top her while red sticky liquid painted her skin. Maybe even a few broken bones. Her skin was paler than it should've been.

This was a torchere she'd NEVER forget.

Her eyes were closed as she tried to sleep, her breathing was now becoming shallow. That was it. She knew Shredder made her lose too much.

She winced as she heard her cell door open. Hurried footsteps walked over too her.

"Sensei is so going to be ticked when he sees her." She heard a voice whisper. She then felt a giant three-fingered hand on her face. The thumb messaged her cheek as saying, 'it's okay, you're safe now.'

She relaxed into the touch as her quick breathing slowed again.

"It's okay, Karai...just calm down, you're safe." The voice cooed.

She felt light-headed as she found herself being picked up bridal style.

"Karai, c'mon stay awake for me, please!?" The voice shouted again as she went unconscious.

Karai was surrounded with her worst nightmare as she stood frozen in her spot.

Her family and friends were now all being tortured by the Shredder with screeches and whispers around her.

"You did this..." Leo whispered in her ear.

"We should've never trusted you!" Raph yelled.

"WE TRUSTED YOU!!" Donnie screamed.

More voices kept echoing as she tried to block them out.

"No..." She whispered.

"Stop...please...I-I didn't mean any of this..." She cried out.

"Karai!" Someone yelled her name as the negative voices seemed to be getting quieter. Karai tried concentrating on that one voice. The more she concentrated on it the more sounded like...

Leo...

"Karai...wake up...c'mon Karai don't do this to me. KARAI WAKE UP!!!"

Karai bolted awake hyperventilating. Her shallow breaths and struggles for air weren't helping. Donnie tried to talk to her but she didn't hear anything, and ignored Donnie's attempts for breathing techniques and everyone else's cries and pleas for her to just breath, including Splinter.

Leo then grabbed her gently cupping her cheeks and immediately stroked his thumbs across them.

"Shhhh, Shhhh. It's okay, Karai, you're safe here. Just breathe, okay? Can you breathe for me please?"

Karai started tried she closed her eyes and squeezed them shut and soon started crying.

Donnie figured the two would want alone time and shoved everyone else out.

Leo left her for a few minutes as he re-set up the ambulance bed, he then walked back to Karai and picked her up, placing her on the bed as she sat there, still crying.

Leo rubbed his hands up and down her upper arms a few times and finally went all the way down and gently grabbed her hands.

"Karai, look at me." Leo commanded, gently and calmly.

She did as Leo asked, her face was red from crying and tears were leaving streaks down her face. She has never been this way with Leo, but right now she didn't care she needed him. She didn't want to say it so she just slipped out of his grip and wrapped her arms around him.

Leo's eyes widen. He has NEVER seen this side of her. He gently wrapped around his arms around her, letting his hands rest her middle back.

"Don't leave me..." She whispered in his ear. "I don't want to lose you in anyway possible." She finished and buried her head in the crook of his neck.

Leo felt her bury herself into the crook of his neck, he felt her hot tears stain his skin.

"I will always be by your side, Karai...always..." Leo whispered, audible so only she could hear it. He pulled her back a bit and kissed her forehead then returned her to her previous position.

Epilogue

After a few weeks Karai was finally stable again, emotionally, mentally, and physically, Karai and Leo's relationship has escalated to where they sleep together in Leo's room.

However Karai was still VERY clingy to Leo. It'd take awhile before he could go back on patrol until Karai got out of her clingy phase, but he kept his promise and watched fall asleep right there in his arms, under the covers, in his room, safe and sound in the lair as Karai's head was buried in his chest, her breathing was even, deep breaths.

He was always by her side............Always.
